I really enjoyed the vibe of the game! Really scratches that retro itch!

Hi! thank you so much for playing! I am so glad you liked the cat and the experience!!
There is a way to win, but i think the game probably didnt render that for you in the beginning of the game, basically it said you can press K to spin and win at any point. But thanks to your comment, i made sure to include the instructions in the actual game scene just in case someone has that as well.
Thank you so much for this!!! what a lovely comment. I totally feel you with the game mechanics aspect of it. Truth be told, I am more of a filmmaker and writer (which i think makes sense for this kind of game hahah), so I didn't really know what I was doing for a lot of this. But i agree, I think there were other mechanics I could have added to enrich the immersion. Anyways, thank you once again!!
Nothing more serious than a job like that jeez! i have to say it feels like being thrown into the wolves a bit cause i didnt know what i had to do, at first i thought i just didnt get the controls. BUT OH MY by the end i made like one mil and the amount of weapons I had i basically could not see my character. That was wild hahahahha. I still have a lot of questions but i like that. I had a lot of fun!!
i loved the aesthetics! it was an oddly moving short story. sadly as a game it felt a bit short, for instance, i missed the neighbourhs so for me it was like, walking slowly, getting there, end. but in terms of feeling, images and music, really nice. btw, jij komt uit nederland of belgie? super leuk!
Im not the target audience but I think this was great!! like the aesthetics and the fact that you made this in the gamejam. truly impressed! i also agree the gameplay is quite hard but at least I won in easy mode hahah. Btw really nice implementation of the theme, it is not something people would think of right away but it works!
i think your idea is really cool! nice sound design as well, it was quite an intrguing game! A bit of what I had more trouble with was the game feel. Like, i liked the concept conceptually but playing it was a bit weird. eventually I got the hang of it better tho! all in all a good submission and the theme was greatly applied :)
