if you are playing on .9 the reason is unstable build
if you are playing on .8.2 the reason is pre-alpha

when you download unstable 0.9 you have zip archive and 7z with the game inside
you need to extract that 7z from zip and only after that unpack the game from 7z

u need to choose how many points for how much and what coins/bills you want to exchange
there are +1/+5 and -1/-5 buttons 

extract 7z from zip, then extract game folder from 7z
worked for me
