Hey, thank you for your follow-up! Nice to hear I am not the only one with this problem. I would totally +1 the godot engine proposal. Being a musician in "real life" I think there is still so much potential for interacting with sound and music in Godot. I hope they will add more functions in the next updates. :)

Good luck on your journey with Godot!

Thank you for your comment and your insights!

I really would have liked to combine AudioStreamInteractive and AudioStreamSynchronized for smooth transitions, but due to being not so advanced in coding and the lack of documentation on the relativly new AudioStreams in the Godot Documents (yet) I could not make it work.... The problem I ran into was that I couldn't figure out how to nest the Streams properly to call them via code (so how do I trigger or change voluime for an AudioStream inside an AudioStream that is inside another AudioStream itself). In the end I put everything in a big AudioStreamSynchronized and hardcoded the transitions. Not the most elegant way, but I figured I will learn how to do it nicely after the jam. ;)

Clean grafics, a great Synth-Soundtrack and a funny spin with the incoming text-messages! I really liked it! :) Others said it before, spamming the Space-Button felt a bit to tempting by having no downside, but for a jam game a great entry! And congrats for making the latency work, I had my troubles with this before and know it is a pain to work around... On my Laptop it worked fine in the browser!:)

Thank you :) Means a lot to me that you tried it!

Thank you very much for the kind words and trying out the game! :)

Very nice! Feels like a completed game to me, and is a lot of fun! Congratulations!

Wow, I can not thank you enough!! Thank you so much for sharing this video, this is really, really helpfull!! Seeing someone figuring out how everything works just reminds me how much I am in my own head when I make something, and that some interactions that seem really obvious to the programmer might be really hard to catch as a first time player and vice versa.

Haha, and I really think the audioloops could use some more work as well - I ran a bit out of time and really would have liked to have a few days to really make tham match each other better.  :) So good feedback, thank you!

Such a good use of audio as a gameplay element!! I am really impressed, this is a great creative gameconcept and a very good execution as well. I really liked the conversations, they felt so natural! Very well done!

Thank you so much for trying it out! I can only return the compliment, great game you made there!

Wow, I really enjoyed this one! The artstyle looks amazing, a perfect fit for the boardgame-theme. And it was quite a lot of fun seeing my little hero go in circles. Very well done, congrats!

Thank you very much! :)

Thank YOU for trying it out! :)

Good Game, the Upgrades really give you a feeling of progress and the gamefeel is nice and smooth! Well done! :)

Played it on my phone in the Browser and it worked perfectly. Nice, simple game with a clean art style. I liked it and had a good time on the Bus! Thank you! :)

Thank you for you kind words and playing :)

That is such a great concept! You feel so cool if you are having a good run, all the single moves work out and the soundtrack keeps you pumping. Very nice job!!

Hey, thank you so much for your comment and giving the game a try! :) Much appreciated! Yeah, I really wanted to have many more parts on the junkyard but ran out of time writing the music :D Maybe I will add some more after the jam. :)

Oh no, poor pepperoni! I always had to give it another go when the poor thing got sliced! Clean and cute artstyle, simple controls and a very fun gameplay loop. I liked it a lot! Well done! :)

OMG I think this game is hillarious! The music was pumping, and the derpy artstyle worked so well with the theme! :D Loved it, and would totally play a bigger, polished version of this! And now excuse me, I have to go back and drive my In-reverse-hopping-Unicorn again. xD

Very neat concept! I have not seen a lot of physics based games in this jam, and yours is a great approach. Quite hard, but with a nice synth-soundtrack and very satisfying marble-sounds while trying to navigate through the world! Great Job! :)

Great Level Design, and very cute art. I love when you see all your little past selfs run with you in the later loops of a level :D Great Job!

Thank you for playing! Yeah, Billboard Hot 100 for sure! :D :D :D

Hey, great game you have there! For my taste the difficulty ramp was great, because I do not play a lot of top down shooters. ;) I had a lot of fun while playing!

Only thing I had was that spamming the Dash locked my keyboard in between, if you plan to make more out of this game after the jam maybe a keybinding system would be nice!

The Theme is awesome! I really enjoyed the animations on the spirits when you capture them. If you make a bigger game out of it,  a more forgiving beginning would be nice for me, I died quite a lot ;)

Thank you very much! :) Happy you liked it!

Thank you for playing! :) Im a big fan of your games art, so I appreciate the positive feedback! :)

THIS is the perfect platformer for me! ;) I would for sure play 40 Levels more of this, I am sure there are a lot of cool Ideas you could fit in later levels. And the artstyle is very beautiful as well! Well done!

Thank you for your kind comment and for giving it a try! :)

Thank you so much for giving it a try!! :) Haha, I think "goofy" is the only artstyle I can pull off for the moment :D Glad that you enjoyed it!

Wow! Such a good game, so polished, with great grafics, a very satisfying gameplay loop and very good world building! Had a great time playing it, maybe the best game I played so far during the jam! Congratulations, a good luck!

Waaaaay to difficult for me, but I can see how people with a love for challenging platformers in the realms of Celeste will enjoy this! I really like the concept as well, very nice spin on the theme of the jam!

Really clever Idea, and I love the simplistic visuals and music! Had a lot of fun trying it out! Thank you!

Nice little game! Turns out, I am surprisingly bad at drawing circles. :D I like the soundtrack as well, is very relaxing and works great with the underwater-theme!

Got quite addicted (in a positive way) to this game! Would be nice to have some feedback if the enemy units hit you, my best run endet because I didnt realise there was a tiny robot guy right behind me.... :D All in all simple and nice! Thank you!

Same here sadly. The screenshots look promising!

Hey, so nice to see a visual novel project! Played through the whole story :) I really think this artstyle of hand-drawn mixed with photos is something to explore further! Good work!

Had a lot of fun trying to beat my own highscore! Very fun game with equally fun grafics. I really liked the strange people you meet on the subway. ;) Nice!

Thank you so much for playing and your nice words! :)

No worries, I encountered nothing gamebreaking, and I think there is a lot of potential if you want to make the game into something bigger :)
