Try waiting as long as you can, and if nothing happens, try clicking in the screen to force some dialog interations. This problem happens a lot with me (I'm on android) in the first missions. 

Try quitting in-game instead of forcing it through the cellphone tabs. Go to the options, press the "quit" button and you'll be in the menu, and then just press the "quit" button again, the game will auto-save. After that you can shut down the game's app safely. And don't forget to turn off the energy saving mode to prevent any issues.

Try not to complete the quest which have the animation you want to see again. When the "continue" button appears after the 3 animated stages, shut down the game and then open it again to reset the mission. Gotta do this until the dev adds a scene gallery or a request button to the characters.

Try to press the options button in-game, then press the "quit" button, and after that you will be back in the game's menu, and for the last time press the "quit" button to leave the game properly, And don't forget to turn off the "energy saving" in your cellphone to prevent any errors. I did this and it worked for me, the game saved my progress without any problem.

How do I start "the Master of Neko" mission? I already did the "Umbra's Secrets" quest but it didn't unlock neko's one yet (I'm on android).
