Man, this is a simulation of a personal experience I had

Skipped yesterday, Imma play double TM today

Just saying, Ishaan, your promises are really not empty. I legitimately improved in maths.

Difficulty: 1

Pure run

Numpad: Yes

Gamemode: Classic

I almost said I didn't do TM yesterday but I in fact did lol

I know, right?

Thank you, glad you like it!

I am flabbergasted.

 Despite the numbers below, I actually gave up at 62 questions not just because I saw so many decimals, but because I started remembering brutal things about school. I felt really awful about myself and no longer could allocate enough energy for mathematics. I didn't really push my "muscles" to the edge of failure. Nonetheless, I managed to find a good mental technique to improve arithmetical mathematics.

I totally didn't host the game jam related to this game :)

I'm actually getting faster and better at maths. Thank you, dear Ishaan, for making this lifechanging game. I am able to compute divisions and two-digit multiplications I was never aware I was capable of. I also played my own music in the background, and one of them was looping but never felt boring to listen to.

I played an infinite game, but I didn't record my results

I'm actually starting to enjoy TM. I'm going to get play another run.

This game is very unforgiving

And another skip. I had no time for TM today.

I will be skipping today's TM. I'm busy.

Might not do TM today because I have math homework, which I'll count as maths.

That was a bit disappointing, but I improved nonetheless.

See? I didn't miss my daily TM.

From now on, this will be my convenient hub to log my daily The Mathematician.

CAS = Calculator-assisted

SAS = Sheet-assisted

CAS runs are runs where you use calculators for reference without completely relying on it. SAS runs do not necessarily involve sheets, but a place to hold information to help with large-scale calculations.

Numpad uses = I have a numpad on my keyboard or a separate numpad. Numpads help with inputting numbers. It is not cheating to use a numpad because it simply allows the brain to communicate with the computer faster, and the point of the game is to improve your brain.

I love this game very much. I honestly believe the levels are very intelligently created. You are a very skilled dev, Matthew. I was expecting to sleep more easily playing this game getting bored, but I was having so much fun and I was grinning a lot.

Insane rick roll 🐻

I wish I could say the game was fun, but I really didn't understand how to play the game, nor did I understand what the objective was. The art (both 2D and 3D) were really polished and solid, the devs are lucky to have those members in their team.

Always look behind you before moving. Enemies can and will sneak behind your back. You can be swarmed from behind and abruptly killed.

Aim for visor kills when low on health. If you are low, keeping a distance should already be reasonable. Try to practice your aim to get visor kills.

Run diagonally to move faster. This will allow you to move 1.4x (the more accurate number is √2) as fast.

Jump. Enemies can't reach you while you are midair, and enemies cannot jump.

Turn around. Enemies don't turn very fast. This can allow you to briefly avoid being chased.

Allow enemies to turn to you. This will allow you to get visor kills more easily.

Spawn camp enemies. Prepare to shoot enemies before they spawn.

Gather the horde. You can kill multiple enemies at once.

Feels like a game made by a team. Great job!

For your information, I am no longer working on this game. If you want to see my other work, check out my YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@numadeveloper/videos
