This was very good. The only nitpick I have is it was a little loud but I do have my output set to the max, so that could just be my fault.

And I'm definitely not crying while writing this, no sir.

Time for my obligatory sudo-review for your game.

The amount of inspiration is obvious, but because you are trying to put your own personal spin on the Yume-Nikki formula, I'm giving it a pass.

The areas where varied and looked very nice, but not having an option to lower the sound effects is slightly annoying.

I will have to admit that I suck at playing these types of games, but what I did experience was nice.

Apologies for the late response, I want to deeply thank you for playing the game. Also I have no idea if you got further but, perhaps you should face the doors you enter?

Sorry about deleting my previous post but it was a bit redundant. I have tested the game again, and I have not found any problems on my end. As of right now I can think of two possible reasons why you are having problems, the first is that somehow you are not using the default controls. And the second is that your volume might be too low. For the first possibility, you'll need to hit F1 while running the game and reset the key bindings. The second possibility should be easy enough to fix.

EDIT: (edited the to my as to clear any confusion.)

Sorry about the music, I'll try and fix that. The puzzle can only start when the note on the floor is picked up.

Now all that's left for you to do is solve the true final puzzle. ;)

First of all, that in what the readme is for. ;) Secondly, you apparently are not the only person to get stuck and I might have to add a few things... Lastly, thank you.

All you need to do is run back by holding shift (Just now realized that I forgot to include that in the readme...).

Thank you for the reply, a few re-writes have been made as well as  a few other improvements like giving the player rules for the riddles. I just have to wait for the judgement period to end to upload the update.

Thank you for that, I wrote down every problem that came up (Including a small map error) and I will be working on fixing it.

Also, you are only supposed to have one shot to beat the game, but I might change that in the future.

I already have an updated build, I just need to wait for the judging period to be over.

Sorry about that, I didn't think anyone would need that since I didn't use any default assets. Going to update the description now.

If you encounter a bug, please send a copy of your save file and the what you did before the bug happened to "nullandvoidproject@gmail.com". If you have any other questions or comments, I will try to respond to them as best as I can.

Honestly not my best work.

Thank you for the reply.

Does it have to be a traditional rpg game or can it be something along the lines of a puzzle rpg game.
