Hi everyone! We’ve released a free three-puzzle browser sampler for Nudge Out, a colourful sliding-block puzzle.
The first puzzle is about matching arrows to gates. The next two introduce the part we find most interesting: using one block to help another, then bending a route so a block can do more than one job. Sometimes the right move sets up an exit for later.
Play it here: https://nudgeout.itch.io/nudge-out-sampler
Swipe in the arrow’s direction, or tap/click a block. There is no timer, and the sampler has no ads, purchases or account requirement. Hints and reset are available. It is a small standalone introduction, with three selectable puzzles and no saved progress.
We’d particularly welcome feedback on the second and third puzzles: did the push and direction-change mechanics make sense, and was the first useful move clear?
Development disclosure: code, writing and some artwork were made with AI assistance. The puzzles themselves use fixed layouts and rules; there is no AI chat or generation during play.
