Thank you so much for your kind words and gameplay video! I'm so glad you enjoyed it!!There are still some bugs here and there like that typewriter sound that kept playing (oopsies), and some various things that need to be polished. I'll be making some of these fixes here eventually. Follow this account novicewizard to see dev posts and updates I make, and my next projects. Thanks so much for your comment and video!

I'm glad the scares worked out for you, it was my first experience with Sequences and I had to keep it short for the jam. I LOVE building cool castles with supernatural/esoteric histories. I wanted to make the castle bigger with lots of rooms with you avoiding 'Dracula' and even going outside onto the roof and ledges. I definitely want to do more with this and make it more 'survival' with more items to pick up.
I utilized this pack in my submission for Scream Jam 2024 and it turned out really well! https://novicewizard.itch.io/this-dreadful-place

I'm so hyped to try out everyone's games
Really lovely banter and an inspired art style. A few improvements could see this being a really solid point and click: dedicated cursor and clearly marked bounds where interaction will happen, I found myself clicking a lot trying to find what needs to be clicked, and it took me a solid minute to see the arrow lol. I really love the characters and hope you keep going.

thank you for your thoughtful reply! Yes this is directly inspired by Chapter 7 of Bram Stoker's Dracula. I really like the concept here, and we even have a fairly thorough and wonderful design document that our excellent writer made with all of the components, but the scope was just too big to put all together in a week. I think I'm going to finish this in the next month or so.
