Truth to be told, your pack is so absolutely cool that it must probably be my fault. If I may, I mentionned your pack in a post (see https://www.reddit.com/r/gamedev/comments/1olpwh8/paid_character_assets_i_feel_t...) and imho, your low res characters are more stylish than your HD ones (they are cool, more than 99% of the assets I've found, but your low res ones are even better). Is it harder to make a realistic, HD stylish character?

Why does the longbow character have this weird blue color that appears on it? It looks buggy rather than ... whatever the designer intended to  do

I couldn't get the transparency either, but yeah, I couldn't see anything from the stills so well played! (sorry, couldn't try it, I have a Mac this month)

Quite nice! How did you make the "exterior" of the graphics transparent? Did you do it manually or can you ask stablediffusion to have transparent parts?

For AI image generation, I've found scenario.gg which seems to be the most relevant tool I found for game asset generation. I didn't manage to get a key for Leonardo though

For those interested, I liked:

  • Free to try
  • Possible to edit small details
  • Generators, which is some kind of finetuning to get a consistent style

Yes, I've kept on refining the idea with ChatGPT. It's a great tool for getting starting points, but the refinements still belong to the humans. And actually, I ended up with something quite close to your 4th bullet point, except that it's light and dark ;)

Some very good tools shared in the previous Jam by Loading Octet:

Damn you're good! It works wonder, I can edit my multi story building much easier

A very quick ergonomy fix : on the selection menu for the rooms, make the ones you don't own dark, this way it's easier to spot those you own when you want to switch rooms

(1 edit)

Great job! I have some good looking prototype. Could I ask for some ergonomy? I would like to be able to toggle near transparency (80% or more) on the floors I am not working on as well as only deleting on the floor I am working on. Multi story is quite hard without it.

Cheers for how fast you are!

For example, I cannot edit the floor of the buildings without destroying everything
