Menu: The Menu animations are smooth and interesting. The Menu for the settings seems to have some of the elements slightly off screen.

Gameplay: WASD movement is standard which is good. Although crouching when on certain angles doesn't work like at the top of the ramp at the start. Even when crouching you still cannot make it through the gap that I assume you are meant to go through to progress. However I did find out that you might have meant for the player to go under the ramp instead of over which can be a small problem solving thing for the player to figure out.

Once you fall off the bridge you are NOT able to jump to get back on to the bridge , I'm guessing that maybe there is meant to be some sort of death zone there maybe.

Overall there isn't much here yet so I can only comment on what is there. I would like to see where it goes in the future. I do recommend having pickups for ammo , I am sure you already were going to implement such a thing anyway later on.

The level design is interesting , lots of different sized rooms , would be nice to have more different shaped rooms too.

I wish you luck with the development of Faerius.

Nice art and music, Interesting concept.

No problem Zac , you always make interesting games, I'm sure you'll go far as a designer.

I'll try out the downloadable version soon , when I have time.

Great Concept!

Just a one thing Ive noticed...

When in full screen mode the timer bar covers the drop down for the hero name , making it impossible to finish the save properly.

Played your game and it was pretty good. Looks kind of like Q*Bert. I would recommend fixing the lighting so that the white rim doesn't show on the tiles as that was very distracting.

Maybe you could even create a timed mode where you have a certain amount of time to complete the level?

Could also have different tile types , maybe some trap tiles that take time away from the player or something.

Anyway Great Concept , Lots of Potential, Keep up the great work!

The car tends to spin out of control a lot during the race and I have a feeling its to do with the Camera.

Great Job otherwise :D

It is nice to see the progress being made on your project, great work so far!

I do have some pointers as to say:

  • Firstly the kunai does NOT work when trying to attack.
  • I do like the visual upgrades you have made.
  • Also I think the newer movement system is a blessing in disguise.

I am aware that the game is still in its early stages and I do hope you continue the development as I see this game

has a lot of potential to be great if taken in the right direction.

Good Luck with your Development Journey!

~NovaMist~

I played your Alpha and would like to note a few things:

* Walking down and up stairs causes collision problems.

* There is no kill zone (or if you aren't going for that when I fell off the ship there was no way to get back onto the ship).

* Enemies swarm the player way to quickly for a player to be able to take care of them as the animation for the attacks on the player character is delayed and doesn't feel fun to use.

I do get that it is an Alpha Build and for 5 weeks so far it is a decent build although I do believe that it is better to get the player character feel down and working to the best possible point and I think fixing the above things I've mentioned will help a lot to make the game better.

Good Luck with the rest of Development I wish you all the Best!

10 Cats out of 10

Needs to either have a higher variable jump or shorten the larger obstacles due to bot being able to physically go over them.

Otherwise Great Work!

needs a pause menu to be able to quit properly.

interesting concept!

cute art style <3

Interesting Short Game :)

Thank you for the feedback ill work on that :)

No problem , glad to see you take on board the feedback.
