To celebrate a different game I'm planning releasing on Steam soon I thought I'd contribute something to the metroidbrania genre that inspired me to start a solo-dev journey.

Here's a short and free little browser game that hopefully tickles an itch. I hope you enjoy.

Hi, thanks for playing and for the feedback! I've added D-PAD functionality and included a button on the screen to be able to mute the music.

This was just a short project as a homage to knowledge-based platformers so I didn't go too crazy with building it out, it's why the reveals are so simple.

I actually was trying to build it in a way that stopped the player from finding out things before they should but I'm glad you enjoyed doing the opposite of what I planned :) 

Even as a prototype this has a ton of stuff in it! It's been a while since I played a text-based game this was a nice trip down nostalgia lane :)

I got the forest background for free from somewhere I think someone may have ripped the png from you :( I was looking for more backgrounds for my game and noticed I'm using yours for free so I want to buy the pack to help support. They look awesome and I think I can make use of a few more :)

Thanks for the awesome assets and also the custom work you did for me, it all turned out just how I wanted! All the level designs are built with these tilesets!

Null Path is a platformer with puzzle elements that puts you in control of a white, faceless clone navigating through a series of biomes. Each biome offers unique power-ups and challenges that push your platforming skills to the limit. Expect to face difficult jumps, environmental hazards, and brain-teasing puzzles as you explore an empty world filled with mystery.

This is my first attempt at game development, I hope you enjoy playing as much as I enjoyed making it! :)

Hey - not sure if you see replies on older threads so making a new one. I can't contact you on either X or Instagram - X says I need to purchase XPremium to send messages to people who don't follow me, and instagram let's me send a single message (which I did) and wont let me send anymore until you've accepted the chat.

Not sure what to do, kind of hard to get in touch :\
