Hello. I'm very glad you enjoyed the game, and thank you for asking, but for a number of reasons I have no intention of involving AI with the game.

I am extremely extremely sorry for not responding sooner, but I didn't really have a good answer for you. I really didn't want to change the policy, although I was also hoping a better alternative would pop up. But that never really materialized. And a lot of irl things came up and things got away from me. Which I know isn't a good excuse, but it's what happened.

Which is all to say that I'm willing to give you permission to release an already modded version of the game. I know that's probably too little to late at this point, but I didn't want to leave things unresolved. And I really didn't want you to feel like you wasted so much of your time. I know how disheartening it is to have your efforts wasted.

And again I'm so sorry for taking so long to give you a response. I was worried about scenarios that I probably shouldn't have been worrying about and hoping for solutions that probably won't come. So I hope this brings at least some positivity to you.

I'm going to be honest, I don't really know how it works myself. But the intention is, you can release "mods for the game", but you can't release "a modded game".  There's something called either Twee or Tweego that essentially lets you add things into Twine games, but I haven't actually used them myself. But theoretically it would let you add your own passages into the original game and implement them that way. Somebody was working on a system for adding mods to the game, although I'm not sure how far they actually got with it.

Thank you very much for all the reports! Hopefully I'll be able to fix them all in the next patch. Changing how inventory stuff works may need to be a bit more in depth. And yeah, character dialogue changed from how it worked originally, and I never changed it back after I added the grid thing back in. I wasn't 100% sure which system I actually wanted to use or how best to implement it.

Thank you so very much :D

Hmm, so you have all 5 quests in your quest log and they all say completed?

I think that should be relatively easy for me to implement

Sorry for the late reply! If you want you can email me at sck140@gmail.com . Although I have to admit I can't guarantee how fast I'll be able to get around to actually implementing anything

Hmmm, I'm not sure what's happening with the inn. If he's still there then you should be able to just complete his quest line again.

And more options could be added to the restaurant, although it'd require somebody to write them. Although as you said, you're basically well past the point that a lot of other players would consider "impossible" to get to. There's a couple repeatable quests at the restaurant and smithy in town. Although those are pretty minor and just exist as a way to get gold.

Same thing with adding more quests to the "end game". Somebody would have to write them. And even then that just pushes what constitutes the "end game" back a few more minutes. There's still a few things I have lined up previously I could add. Although it might be a while until I get to them.

In any case, thank you very much for the feedback! I don't really have any donation links set up or anything, but just knowing you enjoy the game is support enough for me :D

Probably. Although somebody might have to write them

Yep. They should at least

Unfortunately I believe that is the height cap. Largely so I didn't have to rewrite basically every scene with Sampson, as well as a lot of other scenes X3

But I'm really glad you've been enjoying the game otherwise! And congrats on eating your first elephant :D

Ah, hmmm, I'll have to look into that. I might've just copied the old version of character creation. Thank you!

Oops. That should be fixed in the next patch. Thank you very much!

I've heard of at least a few other people doing that also X3

Yep, basically

Maybe! I was sort of planning on adding it at some point, but I wasn't sure really how to implement it.

Well, if you actually want to know, the answer is this all just happens every so often. Like I said, not very interesting! Which is why I'm more interested in exploring the world itself than figuring out why the world is the way it is. And more about how people react and what they decide to do and so on.

I wasn't able to replicate the slime quest problem. Also I'm not quite sure where you're running into the problem, since there aren't lime slimes. But after you give him the 3 lemon slimes you have to go back to get the next quest. And the last quest is where you give him 4 blueberry slimes and then you don't see him after that.

But I was able to fix the other two errors at least! They should be in the next patch. Thank you very much for the reports!

Correct! And there is an answer, although it's not a particularly interesting one. I sort of started my other series, "Under the Mountain of Fud" to explore more of the sort of backstory, although I haven't actually gotten to any of that yet.

This game is more dedicated to exploring the world itself than anything really plot based. Largely owing to the fact that the game is largely derived from user submitted content, so it's hard to weave a specific story into it. But even in my initial conception, the game was more meant to be a pretty random exploration based game.

Thanks! I'm glad it works :D

I'm bad with javascript! Although I'm pretty sure I can figure out some way to make it work.

I think I can probably figure out a way to do that.

Thanks! I try my best :D

Thank you so much!

And it should be possible to have that be an option, although I'd have to do some research to figure out a good way to actually do it.

Thank you very much! :D

Sorry! Should be fixed now if you refresh the page. Thanks for reporting!

Thank you! :D

Yeah, I can probably do something like that.

Whoops. That should also be fixed now if you refresh the page.

That should be fixed now if you refresh the page

Hmmm, I'm not sure. I've never used the desktop app before, but I just downloaded and installed it and version 0.61l works for me. So I'm not sure what's happening :c

That was sort of an error on my part. If you fight the hydra you can get one, although I accidentally set the drop rate to 1% instead of 100%. Once I put out the next patch, you should be able to refresh the page and click on the "fix enemy stats" link in "Game fixes" to update the hydras stats.

But also you can get one from identifying gems, although it's a pretty low percent chance.

That has to do with whether your browser can store data on your computer. So if you have cookies automatically blocked or something like that then the game can't store data anywhere so it can't keep track of anything. Usually this is due to adblockers or something. I'm not sure what all triggers it, but it's something stopping your browser from recording data.

No worries. I can at least make it so you don't have to change rooms for your status to update X3

Oh yeah, feedback on anything would be appreciated!

Not yet. I'll probably make it downloadable once it's in a more stable state. But things can get complicated when I'm still fixing things but people are on an old version they've downloaded. But when patched become less of an issue, I'll probably make it downloadable.

Also, thank you very much! :D
