After making this game, I definitely learned my lesson about balancing and playtesting, lol. From my observations, average person must spend at least 15-20 minutes to reach the end once, unfortunately not a perfect fit for the jam. Still, I am so glad to see that people enjoyed it anyway. Thank you so much for all the feedback and compliments!

Great exploring on the theme! Level was so long to just have a one life, and hard resetting after each fail. Love the pico art though!

Getting timings right was a bit annoying, but the idea and concept is great! Also enjoyed the art, good job!

What a gem!

Great pixel-art, music and gameplay! One of my favourites for sure.

Ty for the kind words! Cleared your game two times, that was great! Initially, I had the vision of a shmup like yours with the screen wrapping but then the game altered into what it is now.

The art is the best!! Gameplay was also engaging even though it needed some polishing, good job!

The aesthetics of this is so good! Hooked me up instantly, gonna play more in my spare time for sure!

Oh, hey! Thx a lot for the praises. But you missed a point, it is made with "loops of love". Gotcha hehe

Enjoyed the art and platforming, but failing and collecting upgrades felt very repetitive. Nice job!

I never thought of a 2D version of Half Sword could work, but here it is! Enjoyed swinging that thing like crazy.

Fun little game for a short break.

Idea is there! Love the visuals.

Just finished start to end, very cool and simple loop based puzzles with fun (sometimes frustrating) platforming. Lots of content too. And also love the pico art you got there! Right now this is my second fav of the jam just after the other frog game, Frog Kisses. Frog supremacy!

Thx! Since that was my first pico game, I didn't want to go too deep without much knowledge about the engine. I think I used 8-9 colours in total all from original palette. Also, I really love how original pico blue and red go together. Definitely that was a inspiration for the game.

Very fun and well executed idea. I just wish there were more interactions and content. Loved it!

Not a specific game, but general avoid the objects genre with combination of falling "loop". Heart is just a coincidence, because of the theme I chose. If I were to remake it, I'd probably use some design from undertale minigames.

I kissed a frog, and I am crying over it.

Other than some pacing issues this game is perfect, great use of theme too!

So true.

Got a little dizzy after a while... This could work really well as a mobile game, great job!

Make sure you post your time (you will see) after finishing it. I am curious about everybody after witnessing some of my friends' very long times. And, great  to see you enjoying! (probably?)

Pico is my new favourite recently, hope you like it!
Also, I got jealous of your steam deck screenshot. I am gonna go and do the same with my handheld for my game right now :)

Never ever easy anyway... Happy to see you enjoyed, also got the narrative!

You got the formula so damn right, and the name too!!! I love it <3

Reminds me of old flash games where you do the same thing literally. What a flashback!

What a generic clicker game only for people that click, how boring! Jokes aside I would like to you to expand on this idea more. Congrats on the first jam!

A puzzle-spinner(?) make use of theme really well! I love tiny guys doing tiny walks.

Has its charm. Also, it is a very basic and reflex-testing game for kids. I will try to make my sister play this one later. Good job!

Towers hitting the player really adds some depth. I would like to see what becomes of this as a full game.

Gravity sucks... But this the racing game of the jam.

oooooooooooo:>

I love ascii-art so much!! Even though it isn't perfect, good job!

It is fun to hole my loop.

Cool concept, and congrats on the first jam submission!

Hey, congrats on the first game jam! Some interesting gameplay would've been good, but you did a good job for the first time anyway!

Even though I got stuck on the bookshelf and sundial puzzles, game looks really good. And a point taken because bed isn't bouncy.

A promising rogue-like idea but gameplay felt a bit plain. I did really liked the audio and voice-acting part though.

A resource management puzzle-platformer with resources as blocks themselves?? That was clever but felt very randomized even though next round's blocks are visible. But I still enjoyed!

I am very fond of the art style and concept. It could've used some sfx and variety in gameplay. Also felt a little grindy. Other than that I loved it conceptually, good job!
