Thank you for playing the game =) And I agree a lot with the map passability and object interactions. One of the big reasons were having to cut the pictures drawn up for the scene and then the fact the sprite was so big. So I had to remove the ability to pass and walk some places because if not the hat would clip too much. But you also see a few places where the sprite will weirdly clip where it should not. Believe me when I say it has been worse XD I would fix it more if I had more time before the game jam ended.
I hope to add more exploration and things later, but I had just one week left when I actually strted on the events to the game. But I will try to add more things to do =).

And thank you. I found a plugin so I could play a video and added an animation of trees I made, and the visuStella glitches plugin.

Thank you, and I agree that it does feel like you sort of go from A to B without much to the gameplay. I would like to implement a sort of potion synthesis system in the future, it is just down to how I am better at the creative part, and not always as good at the technical part. I think the closest maybe is that you can unlock something when you have all the potion items in your inventory if you go to the right place. I also planned on having a chase scene, but had to scrap it and made it a cutscene instead because it became too big for the time I had left.

And the cursing is actually a plot point for later XD It is meant that the main characters thoughts and manner is not supposed to fit the setting.

I will do my best to make the final game more challenging for myself when I continue, as I will have a lot more time on it =) Thank you again for playing.

No problem =) One of my games had so many bugs where it just crashed when a movement route couldn't be finished. I in the end had to just go through the entire game and add skip if cannot be completed in it. =)

I had fun playing, but the game froze up on me 3 times. When I tried to walk into the inn rooms and got told that someone was already there, and then before going into the circle in the basement I thought about checking the room first and said no, and then it froze again. It might be the movement route event and it might be fixed if you add: skip if cannot be completed or something like that.
Other than that I liked the story =).

Thank you so much! I don't know when I will have time to finish it, but hopefully it won't be too long =).

Thank you for liking my game =) At least it is easy to convince people I spent most of the time on the art and that intro and that is why I needed to cut down on the size of the game XD
I had to cut down on the size because of some real life stuff, but it is true I could have added more story elements. I think I sort of shot myself in the foot since I did plan on giving a lot of lore in a library later, but the library is not before 3rd day, so of course until then a lot of the story is just what you get told and hinted to.

It might be the particle plugin, I think that is the only place where it is used as well. I tried using it to make some smoke out of the holes in the garden, but it fell through and I went with the Xs.

Once more, thanks for playing it =) And for giving some good pointers to things I can fix later =)

Thank you again =) I think the demo would have been longer if not for using so much time on the intro, but it is the small sacrifices we make XD

Thank you =) I tried going for sort of fairy tale whimsical. I just spent so much time on the art I sort of didn't get time to make the rest of the game XD

Thank you for liking and playing it! I did promise at the time to finish up the second one the same year, but work happened. I have the entire game mapped out and ready to make though, so might finish it this year if I don't get too much work.

Once more thank you for liking it =)

That is great! I will be sure to pick this up then! I cannot wait to see more of this set!

Hi! I really love this tileset and wondered if you are planning on doing interior sets for it in the future?

It is good that it works now. It was weird for the beta testers when I made it too, but most of the times the events wouldn't hang up. It all dependend on small details as to where you stood and similar.

Thank you so much for liking my game! =) If all goes right, I hope to get a second and possibly longer one out before summer ends.

I think there is some bugs with the eventing I never got to fix. I think you can get around it with standing before him when speaking... I don't think I have all the files for the game on my computer anymore, so I don't think I can fix the issue.

Thank you so much for liking my game =)

Thank you for liking my game =) As long as it won't get to busy in my life forward, I plan on having the second one out before summer is over.

Thank you for the advice. I will be sure to try working on the assets and artwork then instead.

That is understandable. Then I will wait 2 days before I start it once the game jam begins, because what I have done so far is just basicly setting up the plugins to have a horror game menu and the map of an apartment.

Thanks for the quick reply! Looking forward to beginning!

I have barely started on a game that I think would fit with the theme for this game jam, and I want to wait with continuing on it until this jam starts. I haven't done anything else than set the game up with adding plugins and made some of the maps. Can I still work on it then if I don't do more before it starts? Or have I done too much?

Sincerely

A noob that wants to try joining a game jam but never gets it to fit right.

Thank you for liking it! And I am sorry the ending is a little sudden and probably hard to understand. I had to rush to finish it in the end. But basically the idea is: Morgan is a powerful being, but because of things happening in his past, he has severe agoraphobia. He is afraid of going out because of what he sees in open streets that no one else can see. Thousands of people staring back at him. The gun he is shot with is made from the Abyss, a monstrous deep void that creates chaos, so what would happen in the end if he was unleashed? This is actually just a short story within a greater story, and I hope I might be able to make the original stories into something people could play one day too. (And sorry for long, probably as confusing explanationXD)
