Sounds good. I’ll check it out again once those updates are added.

Hey, nice work.
I’m currently also working on a Minecraft-like project (still very early), so I’m looking closely at similar engines.
Things I noticed positively:
Movement feels good
Sugarcane moves in the wind
Very strong performance (I had ~4000 FPS)
The textures look similar to those used in official Minecraft update trailers
Overall, the current state of development is very solid
Around 2000 FPS even with 32 chunks
Bug:
Water appears everywhere below height 62
Features I could imagine:
Sneaking
Falling sand blocks
Damage from cactus (and cactus destroying blocks)
General damage system
Crafting
Loading textures/mods outside the EXE (e.g. for texture packs)
Looking forward to future updates.
Hey, thanks a lot for the feedback!
I actually like your comment because you mentioned exactly the things I’m also not satisfied with.
You’re totally right, it’s still super raw. But that’s why it’s a prototype, and I’ll keep improving it step by step over the next weeks and months.
If you have any cool ideas you’d like to see, just tell me, I’d really value your input.
Otherwise, I hope you’ll check out the future updates and maybe enjoy the progress together with me. 🙂
And maybe a little teaser: it’s just a simple scene for now, but do you know what’s waiting for you behind the gate?
Hey, thanks for trying it out!
Just to explain a bit: this is still a very early prototype a lot of features are missing because it’s mainly about testing ideas for now.
It’s of course completely free, just a small experiment, and the main goal is to collect feedback and ideas for improvements.
So if you have suggestions on what could be better, I’d really love to hear them!
