Oh. Sorry if that was confusing.

I’ll improve the boss descriptions in the next version, but you can stun him by using the shadows of the rocks. There are also many bosses you can defeat by taking advantage of the ocean environment.

I didn’t have the resources to include four exploration stages this time, but I’ll consider it for the future!

The true ending is planned for stage 5 or 6!

“Dive” was a really fun game.

I threw it over and over again to try to reach the soda.

I'm looking forward to enjoying all kinds of projectiles (food) and

cups from Tuesday

It took a while to get the hang of the translation and play smoothly, but once I got used to it, the game ran really smoothly.

I was able to play all the way through to the end. I really liked how the destination was marked by a light and the tag-team gameplay.

Hmm, this is a truly outstanding piece of game design!

Since I used to be an amateur game developer before getting into AI, I was particularly struck by how brilliant the game design is.

Also, the opening scenario really made me want to see it through to the end, so I was able to follow the story with my partner all the way to the finish.

It’s simple, but

it’s a game you can enjoy playing over and over again.

The leaderboard is a great idea!

My partner is really cute, too.

I felt this game was very well suited to the theme. My partner also fit right in with the game.

My only complaint was that I found the learning curve a bit steep until I got the hang of the gameplay.

I was impressed by how well-polished the game mechanics were, and I found it really fun to play!

Given this theme, I found the game to be very entertaining, with ideas and a structure that fit the theme perfectly.

I beat the game by collecting records, but I’d also like to complete the version that focuses on her!

Thank you very much.

Since the 3D model was a real challenge this time,

I spent an entire day in advance just testing the 3D model and creating the sound effects, and then finished the rest all at once during the actual production.

As for the camera, due to time constraints during development, that will be a task for the next update!

Thank you!

I really struggled with finding the right balance

between rich 3D graphics and smooth performance.

Since I assumed that not many people own gaming PCs,

I made a conscious effort to keep the system load low.

Thank you!

It was definitely worth using up all that leftover AI credit from work!

I struggled with the game's direction alongside the AI,

but it’s turned out this way.

I’m glad you noticed the friendly elements—those were parts I asked the AI to improve!

Thanks for the advice!

I'm intentionally making the fish part a little tricky,

but improving my camerawork is key!

Wow, thanks for playing!

You can stun the fish, but I think some of them started swimming again...

Core Gameplay

  • Explore four distinct underwater areas.
  • Follow contracts and the orange objective guide.
  • Recover shells, fish, wreck cargo, treasures, and story items.
  • Watch your oxygen, depth, current, and cargo capacity.
  • Weaken dangerous large fish before capturing them.
  • Use terrain, light, equipment, and Nagi during guardian encounters.
  • Return safely to the dock and sell your recovered cargo.
  • Purchase and combine equipment across four gear slots.
  • Unlock new contracts, routes, shortcuts, and dive sites.
  • Discover rare marine species affected by the expedition conditions.

Quick Start Guide

  1. Select a dive site and contract at the dock.
  2. Choose your graphics quality and equipment.
  3. Press START DIVE.
  4. Follow the orange arrow toward the next objective.
  5. Recover the required objects or complete the encounter.
  6. Find a return point and press F.
  7. Sell your recovered cargo in MARKET & GEAR.
  8. Purchase better equipment before your next expedition.

Running out of oxygen triggers a rescue. You will return to the dock, but some of your recovered cargo will be lost.

It took me a while to get the hang of this game,

but the level of detail was so impressive

that I couldn’t believe it was made in just 72 hours.

With bugs constantly halting progress, you must have had a tough time finishing the game!

I realized that “Cola” and “Coffee” weren’t actually drinks,

but rather a wordplay based on the first letters of the words.

(At least, that’s how I see it.)

More than just a short-term event,

this project felt like it had real potential

for release on itch.io. (I’m looking forward to the tutorial!)

It was a bit of a challenge to get the hang of the controls at first, but

unlike typical AI, I felt this was the most technically advanced game in terms of how it works.

Anyway, I managed to beat it once!

This is a great idea for a game.

It fits the theme perfectly,

and it was a pleasure to play.

The coffee break idea

really enhanced the theme—that was a nice touch.

A smart game with incredibly polished gameplay!

There’s almost none of that roughness you usually find in AI-driven games!

I managed to get an S rank on every stage,

but the higher difficulty levels look even more challenging!

I thought this was a very well-crafted game overall.

Yeah, this is a great game.

For a three-day sample game, it’s very well-crafted,

and it fits the theme perfectly.

Because it’s so well-made, I was able to

really enjoy it

Hmm, this game is quite labor-intensive.

It probably wasn't easy to create using AI.

It really captures the theme well,

and the creativity as a game is amazing!

It has a retro, simple look,

but I was able to figure it out right away thanks to the intuitive mouse controls.

The cola bottle packaging fits the theme perfectly. They’ve even included coffee as a bonus.

Overall, I thought it was a very well-made puzzle game.

I remember this was also a game that was submitted quite early.

It’s a very well-crafted game—almost like a textbook example of an AI game. I didn’t notice any issues with transitioning between stages either. The controls were clearly explained as well.

The fact that the Coke bottle fires bullets

gave me a slight sense of how it tied into the theme.

(1 edit)

I remember it well as the entry that was submitted the fastest.

It’s a 3D presentation and a promising prototype.

While modern AI can create 3D games,

controlling them is far more difficult than in 2D games.

Although I wasn’t sure how well it fit the theme,

I could understand the game’s mechanics, the complexity of terrain detection, and the variety of enemies.

(※ I evaluate all entries, but I comment on the ones that are easiest to describe.)

Thank you so much for your very detailed review. As fellow creators,

we both know all too well

just how challenging image generation and creating variations can be!

Achieving a sense of cohesion among the assets was exactly what I aimed for most with this project.

Since this is a recreation and adaptation of a nostalgic game

with a retro vibe for the Game Jam,

I’m glad you were able to sense that.

You can fight from a certain distance even off-screen, but it seems attacks become ineffective if you’re too far away.

However, if you lure the enemy back in, you can resume the battle…

I’ll need to fix this after the event!

Although this was created for the game jam,

I built it solidly with future developments in mind,

so there might even be additional stages down the road!

Thanks for the advice!

I fixed the key inputs without adding any new game content.

I think it should be fixed now?

It works on my end, anyway—I hope everyone enjoys it!

Thank you for the report!

I’ve been experiencing the same issue, and the keys start working after I refresh the screen and reopen it a second time.

Since a friend of mine seems to be able to play,

this method should work for you too!

(Unfortunately, the 72-hour update deadline has passed, so this will be addressed after the jam.)
