Thanks for the feedback!
The stars were added in the last 30 minutes :') they increase your swing speed and strength, but the system is quite broken and not really useful; the game was meant to be a metroidvania/roguelite of sorts, and the strength and speed upgrades were part of the collectibles or boss knockback reward.
Tanks! glad you liked it! :D
And yeh; the main idea was for it to be a sort of metroidvania/roguelite, where you explore the map to get upgrades and then fight the boss until you get knocked out of a sky island back into the map, were you can find more upgrades, but I couldn't do it I'm weak =~=
The stars you get are a remnant of that concept; they upgrade (too slowly) your swing speed or strength, but it ended up reeeeaaaally half-cooked º^º
Yeh... That would have been what I did if I had time, but I barely managed to send this in 1 minute before the deadline (I could only start working on it on the last 3 days of the jam) so it is mostly unfinished, it's more of the central mechanic of a game rather than a full one. The end is not much better, tho; it's literally a blank screen with mouse-scribbled text. If you still want to see, I accidentally left the debug mode on, so you can drag the player with the middle mouse button and just turbo-bonk the heck out of that jar...
Sorry for not letting the state of the game clear enough and wasting your time T^T and I really appreciate the feedback!
Yay! Thank youuu :D
(Ets del Deià, veritat? jsjs recordo veure el vostre joc i pensar; o bé no tenim els mateixos profes, o tampoc heu après gaire que no sapiguesiu fer ja d'abans)
I am planning to get straight into another longer and more laid back jam, this was my way of getting into the mindset mwehehe so look forward to that! (Or play some of my other games, I dunno 0=0 )
I'm also gonna rework, expand and publish Ñamto as a first commercial game; hopefully in the near future... (2027?)
Thank you! I sadly did not have time to create any music (I had just 3 days) so I dunno what are you talking about °^° (sound effects?)
I had to add the whole star mechanic in the last 30 minutes before submission, so it is VERY half cooked (as the rest of the game, honestly. At first it was gonna be a weird metroidvania... 3 days don't really allow you to do a lot...)
Anyways: the stars represent your strength and turning speed, I don't even know which bar is wich cus I had 5 minutes left to add them TvT
Happy you liked it anyway! :D
Hi! This looks super cool! One question, though; would this extension allow to project the output of a 2D camera into a 3D plane (or anything that would look like an in-world screen)? If not, is there a way of doing that in gdevelop?
I have a game idea that revolves primarily around that concept but I don't have much experience with coding or 3D.
Essentially what I want to do is something like this game below; have a 2d scene (or camera view) projected into a 3d view.

I hope you win, this is the perfect interpretation of the theme and a great execution! ˆvˆ
the only thing that I dislike, if you want some feedback, are most of the "bad whirlpool" levels; they feel quite against what the game looks like it's it's trying to be. If you ask me, I think that them being more like "magnets" of some sort (not swallowing the ducks and allowing you to "rescue" them) would have been more interesting and less frustrating. But that may just be me, everything else is great! congrats! :D
