Thank you for your feedback! I was inspired by a board game called "deep blue" (deep sea diving for treasure). I think in hindsight my game is definitely too punishing! In all honestly the way things spawn is purely based on chance. I think I was going for something in a programming sense more true to a slot machine or a lottery scratcher but framed as a "mining game". I also agree smoother drilling would have made for more satisfying game play.

Thank you for the feed back! I agree that the game is too punishing haha. It picks up the longer you play it but I think having the Hazzards apply damage instead of instant death could have of worked better.
This was an intresting take on the "risk" theme. I wanted to do something with investing too but I couldn't come up with to impliment this I was happy with so I moved on from it. It's cool you found a way to make this work!
Hey I'm about two years into game development myself. I've focused on programming in unreal engine (using blueprints). I participated in the last Brackeys Game Jam and really enjoyed myself. (You can find my game titled "Steer Clear"). In my last game I just used premade assets for my visuals so it would be fun to team up with someone to do that part of it if you're still looking for a collaborator.
