That cover art is insanely dope. 10/10 just for that!

Benben you little heart thief! I loved the narrative and had a wonderful time letting him block my gaming. He was way too cute. 11/10 Benben.

Thank you so much! We tried to incorporate the theme as much as possible into this one!

Good question about the Counts. I did give them set spawn points, but since the world is infinite, I also put them on a "leash" so that if you pan far away, the leash pulls them along so they don't get infinitely harder to find. You caught on to my secret! haha

We experimented with how long to make you wait before firing and ended up on a super arbitrary 0.7 seconds (haha it just felt right). You're exactly right, we wanted just enough time to create some tension, and then we added the sound effect to match that timing.

Great job on the S+, Count Dracula would have taken many more casualties so only 1 is an S+ to me! hehe :)

Thank you! It was fun for us to come up with their "personalities"!

I wish I had come up with a smarter way to do the aiming without a mouse, next time! Thank you so much for playing the game and letting us know how it was!

Aww, thank you so much! Saying the game has heart is one of the best compliments we could receive!!

We really appreciate it! We put emphasis on limiting scope and maximizing polish this year so it's nice to see you think so too!

Thank you thank you! I feel like parallax in a 2D game gives it depth in more ways than one! Thank you so much for enjoying our game, it means so much to us!

Thank you for enjoying our game!

The built in full screen button comes from my own custom WebGL Template. It's a bit of a bear to add if you're not familiar with JavaScript, but essentially I just modified the index.html file by adding a <button>, making it look for a click, and telling it to requestFullscreen().

Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes.

This was so flippin fun. Give me 100 more levels and I, dracula the cat, shall knock down every item in your possession. This has to be one of the most creative implementations of the theme I have seen. Extraordinary job, I had so much fun (also the voice of the human with the spray bottle was gold).

Holy cow! You put so much art into this one game its incredible! How did I find myself scrolling on your tik tok app?? XD
Great entry! I really enjoyed it, and I really appreciated the fast paced loop of the game. Also, just the idea itself is really smart and a fun interpretation of the count down theme!

No luck on the download for me either on Windows 11. I bookmarked your page and will come back to it after the jam to give it a proper play! Best of luck! :)

This game gave me a seriously enjoyable 10 minutes of fun and brain teasing! The first level is self explanatory, and you end up with an understanding of the mechanics without the need for them to be explicitly laid out, which is great design. I also loved that you have a planning phase so you can think about how to utilize your previous movements with the stress of starting over immediately. Fantastic entry to the jam!

Oh these were super fun puzzles and I loved how the countdown aspect was applied to both the character and the puzzles! Admittedly, I was stuck on level 2 for 5 or 6 tries but once I figured out the level mechanics I was able to really start blasting through them, it was a ton of fun! Thank you for making such a great game!

Such a fun game! I was impressed that all the men would actually follow the ridiculous lines I drew. I also took a lot of pleasure in having the rocket blast off right into the screen. The levels were fun and I like how you had to balance exploring yourself while guiding your guys. Fantastic job!

I loved the game and I loved that the count down aspect was the fact that you shrink with every move! What a fun interpretation of the theme, incredible job!

I was indeed, quite slappy. I enjoyed my time thoroughly, and appreciated the art too. Good job! Admittedly the timer ran out on me before I made it, some of those stations were busy. It was still a VERY fun time!

I connected them dots, grabbed them key halves, and booked it out that door! Very cool to see all you accomplished in a short time. Also love the count down of the candle going out over time. Nice job!

I loved the pixel art, and I made sure those fish were well fed! Great job!

I love to see a card game in this! Great job pulling this together since card games can be surprisingly difficult to pull off in such a short time! Keep up the great work, and I'd love to see the full version one day!

I live! And I played again and again, because I thoroughly enjoyed all the questions! Wonderful game!

It's amazing how much time I spent on this! A really fun game with great art! I loved playing as the bat version of Dracula! We made Dracula go down in our game too, but admittedly he doesn't go down quite as elegantly in ours. Anyways, great job!!

This was so chill and serene. Could definitely play for a long time! Really liked how you have to account for the numbers counting down after you place them if they don't get used. Also getting big scores on rounds felt so nice.

I managed to fix my ship and escape before the big disaster! Woohoo! Man, the count down almost got me! I had like 2 seconds left. Fun game! I really enjoyed blasting around and managing my resources.

The end, thank YOU for creating this game!

That was a fun one, and I like the incorporation of the count down and the way you built these puzzles! the artwork was a treat as well, wonderful job!

The songs in this game were just so much fun! And the complexity of the music with each level got more and more interesting. I have to say though, World 2 music will be stuck in my head for an eternity. Amazing job!

Oh no! The game didn't load in! This happened to me one year. I had a mishap that deleted my game seconds before the game jam ended. I wish you the best, and hope to see you next year!

Lovely game with a cool aesthetic. I appreciated that I could go back and reengage with different dialogue in case I picked one that stopped the conversation! I am happy to say that Van Pyr does indeed do well in Spongebob.

This game looks like a lot of fun and has a ton of potentially. I couldn't figure out how to scroll around to see the character. I would explode a bomb and fly off into the distance, which was quite some fun. Hopefully others are smarter than I am at figuring this out, great job!

I stuck the landing! Took like 12 tries, what a fun game! Simple but a blast!

This game is very polished! A very fun theme and looping mechanic! What a great game for this jam! This would have done wonders in last year's jam as well!! Great job!

Yeah I definitely should have added a hint mechanic! The 6 really enjoys hiding behind bushes.

This was a fun and simple game! Admittedly I thought I could only move by shooting and was like "man this one is hard!". Once I realized you can walk around I quickly discovered the game was actually well balanced and just a really cool take on the theme. Really nice job!!

Great theme interpretation! I loved the animations of the rocket ship "walking" and blasting around as I collected batteries! The puzzles were sometimes tricky to figure out but I was eventually able to solve them through some trial and error. This really was quite the precision platformer as you navigated through the green batteries and avoided the red ones. I really enjoyed the take off animation every time too. Great work!

You are so kind! Thank you for taking the time to play our game and let us know how we did! Count 6 is a bit of a tree hugger (okay more of a bush hugger actually...).

Thank you :) That tricky 6 is obsessed with the bushes!

Came for IdolFest, stayed to make dad proud. Best story goes to this game! Would I give 100 quacks again? Yes, yes I would.

This is such a cool concept. I'll be leaving this one up and checking back in throughout the day! Excited to see what the Genguins do. On another note, the art in fantastic, and the count down theme implementation is so unique!

First of all, great name. Second, awesome mechanics. I like how the game taught you how to play it just by playing it, and you reached more and more complex time mechanics as the levels went on. Awesome job!

Yes, yes, and absolutely yes. A fantastic puzzle game with cool solutions. I loved the bat mechanic, and I especially loved the sunlight creeping in with each move. This is a great game.
