Cute graphics and unique idea! I liked being able to split apart and solve puzzles with the different pieces. It was a little tough in some levels, though, getting stuck in holes and not being able to jump when pressed against a wall.

Nice and unique visual style with a cool twist on the jam's theme! Driving around was a little tough due to the slippery wheels and building collisions, though.

Very nice atmosphere, I love what the fog and snow particles bring to the ambience of the game. Driving around felt nice and was incorporated well into the theme.

Lovely experimental exploration game bringing to mind the likes of LSD: Dream Emulator, Hypnagogia, and even Petscop, but with a clear and uncompromised vision of its own that it executes wonderfully. Games like this remind me of why I love the medium! Full of style and has a great amount of polish for a game jam game. The theme of generosity feels loosely, maybe abstractly applied here, but that seems only fitting for an abstract experience like this.

Congrats! Very excited for this.

Wow, fantastic work!

Finally got back around to this! Looking forward to future updates.

Finished the game, it's a good one! Got an error at the end though, which I fixed by renaming Map039.json to Map037.json.

I did! It definitely burned itself into my brain, and it's cool to see something like this for the system... especially with an upcoming physical release, which is what reminded me of my question here!

IIRC It's not really something you can do on accident, as getting all the altars' key items and killing everyone without locking yourself out of the pit ending is pretty tricky and requires a bit of planning.

Did anyone ever figure this out? I've kinda just come to assume that I wasn't supposed to be able to finagle my way there during the 37 skins ending but it is possible to puzzle out

Trying to run the game (Windows), I get the message "Failed to load mono"
E: Okay, actually managed to start, but having a lot of issues actually playing. Movement controls only work sometimes, and the audio slider doesn't seem to do anything

Probably my favorite of yours yet! I love the snappy sound effects and the character design is great. Really excited about the future of this one.

This game is mac only.

So I got the ending where you attempt the ritualistic skinning of 37 people but only find 36. When the protagonist started questioning where another person could be, I thought about the cultist you meet after placing all of the key items on the altars.

So I puzzled out how to get 37 skins while still collecting all 5 of those items. But when it came time to use the knife on the last person in town, the one who tries to get you to throw yourself into the pit, I only had the option to push him.

Am I not supposed to be able to skin him? Is there no true 37 skins ending?

Hey, I've been following your work since some of the first public Ignite releases, but it's been a while since I've sat down to play one of your games. It's really cool to see that you've come so far!  The art and atmosphere here are great, and now I'm pretty excited to check out the rest of the stuff from your itch.io page
