Fractured Remnants is a Hollow Knight inspired asymmetrical horror game that is planned to release on roblox. The game will revolve around about 7 or 8 survivors trying to survive against 1 Killer. However unlike other asyms Remnants in this game will be able to damage and eventually defeat the Killer rather than only having to wait out a timer. There will be two strategies for survivors to win
1st Strategy- Escape
Remnants(Survivors) will be able to wait until a timer ends to escape (timer will change in length depending on # of survivors). When the timer reaches 50 seconds a portal made of void will open in one of a few random spots on the map and survivors must reach it to escape and win the game.
2nd Strategy- Banishment
When Survivors attack the killer to stun them the Killer will also take permanent damage. Killer (and Survivor) Health will differentiate between characters based on that characters endurance and strength in the original HK and HK:Silksong. When the Killer reaches Low health they will gain a buff that will change between Killers. When the Killer dies a crack will form behind them and two black hands with bright white outlines will grab them and drag them into the crack. Each killer will have their own animation to getting grabbed and dragged into the crack.

NOTE 1: This Game is a PASSION PROJECT meaning this work will be UNPAID with no chance of RevShare and the game WILL NOT be monetized

Scripters would be responsible for building the systems the game would require like coding abilities, Game Managers, and other systems that will be needed
Requirements
-Experience in Luau Scripting (Or if you have experience in lua that works too)
-Ability to create clean and easy to build off of code
Your job would be to create Maps, Props, and Character Models. If you are an animator then you would also be responsible for making animations for characters and anything else that might need animation

-Knowledge of either an Animation tool or A 3d Modeling tool (Or if you work directly in Roblox Studio)
-Knowledge of Character, Prop, and Location Designs (Designs might change for this game)
Your job would be to draw Character Designs, Map designs, Ability Icons, and UI designs. It would also be a plus if you made art to promote the game and create hype around the game.

The game would require tracks for Map Ambience, Killer chase themes (alternate versions for Last Life survivors + Killers being at low Hp), Survivor LMS themes(Some if not all will have Vocals), an escape sequence theme (possibly different for certain maps), Lobby theme, and main menu theme

Your job would be to make all the SFX (sound effects) for the game. These would include Ability sounds, Killer attack sounds, and movement sound (there is more not listed here).

Your job would be to play the game before the game is released and before any major update to check for any Bugs or Glitches that might occur during gameplay.

Fractured Remnants is a very big and ambitious project that will require a LOT of help to create in its fullest form. With that being said I will try my best to review (and hopefully accept) as many people as I can.

Hello! I’m currently developing an asymmetrical horror game inspired by Hollow Knight, and I’m looking for passionate developers to help bring this project to life.
This game aims to capture the dark, atmospheric tone of Hollow Knight while introducing unique multiplayer horror gameplay.
In each match, seven survivors must work together to face one powerful killer in dark, corrupted environments inspired by the different locations in Hollownest and Pharloom. Unlike traditional asymmetrical horror games where survivors only run, hide, and stun the killer, survivors can fight back dealing permanent damage to the killer
Each survivor has their own unique abilities, strengths, and playstyles. Survivors must coordinate their abilities to stun the killer, creating brief windows where the killer becomes vulnerable and takes permanent damage.
As the match progresses and the killer’s health drops, the killer becomes more dangerous and aggressive, creating escalating tension throughout the match.
Survivors have two possible victory conditions:
Escape Strategy
Banish Strategy
If a survivor lands the final stun that reduces the killer to zero health, their character performs a unique cinematic finisher attack before a blinding light banishes the killer.
If only one survivor remains alive and they land the final blow, the game triggers a special Last Man Standing finisher, a longer and more dramatic version of the character’s finisher animation, followed by a character-specific victory screen.
Matches are designed to end with memorable cinematic moments, rewarding teamwork, clutch plays, and skillful ability usage.
The goal of Fractured Remnants is to create an asymmetrical horror experience that feels fast, strategic, and cinematic, blending Hollow knight themes, teamwork, and horror tension into a unique gameplay experience.
