Thank you!  We caught the flashlight pickup glitch shortly after uploading but it was too late to fix.  The backgrounds were actually super easy, barely an inconvenience.  I took real pictures and pixelated them down to 320x180 (the resolution of the game), adjusted the color palette to include only the colors for that mode, and then messed with saturation and contrast values.

Yeah, that's where I got to as well.  Tried for a while before I realized that fan didn't work.

Haha there were a couple bugs we didn't have time to catch before launch.  We were still making final edits with about 20 minutes left to go.  Glad you enjoyed it though!!

Did you play with a controller or mouse and keyboard?

A great start.  Would love to see some more levels done.

Big celeste vibes.  Genuinely impressed by the quality and length of this game.  I think I got to a point that was unfinished, as it didn't seem to want to let me go any further, but that was deep into the game.  Really a great game.

Great animations.  I wonder what could be done to expand on the idea.  Maybe a goal for the cat to get to beyond just surviving?  Great concept for sure.

YETI KIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLL

Incredible game.  Definitely a contender for #1 spot.

Very nice and cool and good and I liked it.

Truly unsettling.  10/10.

Love the big ol eyes on that fella.  I think this game would benefit from a speed boost.  Both player speed and animations could probably run about 2x faster.  Cool idea to switch difficulty mid game.

Meow.

Really liked the retro graphics.

Love it!  Love that the different modes bleed into each other.  Solid submission.

Love the graphics of the "original" version, especially the change in aspect ratio.  Very cool.

I love to hear that didn't go unappreciated!

10/10.  Party mode was the best mode.

Definitely getting Pizza Tower vibes from this.  Got stuck at a few spots, but fun gameplay!

The flashlight can make certain walls disappear as tutorialized in the rooms prior.  Try using that.  Most of the puzzles are built around shining lights at things to change the world around you.
