Thanks a lot for your feedback and suggestions. I’ll keep working on the game to improve it further!:-)

Thank you so much for the kind comment! I am really happy you played it again and enjoyed the English version as well. And if that leads to more train-based story games, I would be very happy :-)

Thanks for your feedback, happy you enjoy it! :)

After 6 years of solo development, I finally have the Act 1 Demo of The Last Night Train ready in English!

My Itchio Page (PC Windows): https://nicikeller.itch.io/the-last-night-train

Gameplay

  • The Last Night Train is a story-driven puzzle adventure with (optional) real-time action / boss scenes.
  • I tried to combine what I love about games like Undertale, To the Moon, and old-school Zelda games, while adding my own perspective on the highs and lows of the human mind in the story.
  • NO horror & jump scares; NO erotic content; NO blood (it's only ketchup)

Story in short:

Ovid is searching for Thera, his love who vanished aboard a train where the night never ends—but what if she was never the one he needed to find?

Screenshots

Image 1: A puzzle (I know it's hard to guess from a still, but it's quite a cool one!)

Feedback welcome

would love to get some general feedback, especially on whether the English dialogue feels fun and natural. It should be in good shape, as my better half (my wife—not an AI, I'm old school!) helped me with the translation, but a few more eyes would be amazing.

Please enjoy the Demo and let me know what you think, Nici

Thanks for playing the demo! I want to keep improving the game further. So, any feedback, especially regarding the dialogue, but also on the puzzles and the story, is most welcome (here or on discord: Discord-Server). Thanks, Nici
