I should mention I’m not a developer myself just someone who loves horror design. If anyone thinks this idea is worth experimenting with, feel free to take it. I’d be happy to help brainstorm atmosphere, scenarios, or the psychological side of it if that’s useful, but really I’d just be excited to see something like this exist.

Thanks! And Exactly, that’s how I was picturing it too. Not super complex AI, but smart triggers hooked into small, personal reactions. Even a look or a quiet comment would be enough to sell the feeling that she’s always watching. That intimacy is where the horror lives.

Yeah, I like that angle with CCTV/devices it could add another layer of tension, like trying to cover your tracks while she’s always monitoring. And you’re right, it’d probably take some custom systems depending on the engine, but that’s part of what excites me it feels like unexplored space.

Been kicking this idea around and wanted to see what other devs think. It’s less about survival horror in the “run and hide” sense, and more about the tension of being constantly observed.

I’ve been thinking about a horror idea: an escape room where you’re not just solving puzzles, but under constant watch by a warden-like woman. The tension isn’t about chases, but about her noticing your behavior — hesitating, repeating patterns, lingering near exits — and responding in ways that feel personal. More contained than Alien: Isolation, closer to what Hello Neighbor aspired to be. It’s less about raw AI complexity, more about the illusion of intimacy and being seen. Do you think this is feasible with current tools?
