haha. It probably isn't, but I didn't run into that issue with other downloadable games. I could just hit "keep it anyway" and then play them. This one, however, does not give me any options, thus I couldn't play it :?

You're welcome ^^, though idk how many more people ended up trying your game even after I shared it :). If I had found the game earlier, I would have shared it b4 (there was also 3-4 other games that I really enjoyed but had few ratings). Also, being active in the discord really does help advertise your game, you can also try that x). Your game is just better than mine (and it's also better than most of the games submitted). It's a sad reality that people don't play games that are not available on web :/. Good luck on your next jams tho!
I loved the dialog, haha. Also, currently there's nothing in the room view, there's nothing that motivates the player to swtich to room mode, which makes the player only play the void mode. If you could also add sth to the room, then it would make it more challenging and fast-paced, trying to balance two realms. Great work tho! (also the skeleton reminds me of sans from undertale ^^)
Ignorance is indeed a bliss. If only the flies would let me ignore xD. "homemade" lmao. I have never seen anyone so motivated to sell his own homemade ice cream. Anyway, the atmosphere is great! If only you could have also added some voice acting, then it would have added a lot more to the atmosphere :). Also, very satisfying sfx you have chosen! Great game, keep up the good work :D!
I really like the visuals! Things to consider: adding a soundtrack would make it much better. Also, a few customers also would make the game feel less lonely for the robot x). Apart from those, I'm surprised that this game has so many levels :D. But the gameplay starts to feel repetetive, and sometimes the game doesn't register my icecreams (especially on lvl 5). Overall, nice and fun game! Just need more flavour and juice x)
Took me 5 failures to figure out how to play the game, x). Apparently you need to put the cones and ice creams on the table before serving them (a tutorial would be nicer). Also, the choice of art and music are REALLY good. They blend very well with each other. One thing to note, is that at times the player felt a bit slippery. and you might make the patience bar go a tiny bit slower, cuz sometimes everything that is broken piles up and you have no time to fix them, x). But don't make it too slow tho, otherwise it would be way easier and no fun. Overall, the game feels very polished, and a lot of fun for people who like fast-paced games :D. Had a blast playing it!

I think these ice creams are meth flavoured xD. With each dose, he keeps getting higher, lol! Loved the atmosphere and the music blends very well! I didn't felt the pressure of demons though. I thought that I would be running from them, and with each dose of met- ehm, ice cream the running away would get harder. I've seen the skull follow me, but I've never been caught (maybe they never catch, idk, that's just what I expected). Anyhow, great game! Haven't seen sth like this amongst other entries :D!
Haha, OMG loved the intro xD. A nice soundtrack would have been really good. Also, the option to dive down ("s" key?) would have made the gameplay a bit more smooth. And sometimes I felt like either the player or the fires have a bigger hitbox (I kept dying at 300m, lol). And if there were also "healt"s apart from coins, that would increase the longetivity. Apart from those, great game x)!
I love the concept! The pink haired girl and the dream state made me remind of Reimi Sugimoto (from JoJo's part 4) x). The soundtrack and art is amazing! The style looks very cartoonish :D. For ex, this boss lookes something out of Adventure times, haha. Also, I'd love if there were any direction guides. In the last level, I was running arounf for like 8-10 minutes to find the door. I've also realized that you can outrun the enemies by running diagonally (you're probably not normalizing the direction vector?). Another thing, I thought I could get past these ice cones, but whenever I try to do so, I would get stuck in between them, and had to play the entire game from scratch (quitting and re-opening). I'd also loved to get some explanations on the backstories of these two dream states, that would add more personality and goal between these characters and enemies. Overall, great stuff, I had fun time playing it :D

Yup I agree with the coyote time! Also, I made the fires activate faster, because otherwise you can go and finish the level even without getting the ice cream buff x). So that kind of leads you to the ice cream before you decide to go to the finish. I can't agree more with the moves feeling clanky. Since the framework that I'm using doesn't have built in physics (it actually does have, the box2d but that's not the most ideal for platformers), I had to implement it myself, and it didn't end up being as good (even I don't like how it is rn). But I had to move on to the other aspects of the game, otherwise I wouldn't have anything to submit x). Overall, I agree with you, and this has been a nice experience for me as well (first time making a platformer). I'll definitely look out for these when improving/making a new one. Thanks again !
Where do I begin with this. What a polished game, like WOW :D. It left me wanting to play more of it x). At first I was thingking that the player is kind of slippery, but then it made total sense since I'm literally an ice cream, haha. The soundtrack blends soo well with the very charming art (honestly, the UI and other elements are really well drawn). The concept is really fun as well, and the object implementation is very clever :D. The only advice I can give you is that you can change the jumpig sfx to sth that matches an ice cream (maybe a sfx for when you splash an ice cream?). SInce the object is soft and sort of liquid-ish, it makes sense if it had somewhat splashy sfx when jumping. Overall, very great job! Very disappointing that not many people have tried this game tho :/. Will share the game on discord, cus there's still 3 hours left. Hopefully more people woud try it out ^^

haven't tried "Sticky Ninja Academy", I might need to check it out. You can try and make the game (the infinite mode) have some waves. And after each wave we could have some time so that we can spend out "ice creams" to upgrade a feature. I think that would make it even more addicting (I personally would love to play that version as well, haha). Also, you can't ever go wrong with adding particles, that would add juice to the game. And maybe after some amount of waves, we will teleport to another part of the ship? (as a new map, so that the player is not stuck playing the same level, with different difficulties). And last but not least, if you can make the player more bouncy (as in slimes) that would add more to the fun/gameplay aspect. If you ever plan on continuing the game, I personally think those would make the game feel more polished and I would be more than happy to spend hours playtesting it xD. Great mechanic tho!
OMG yes, I was having troubles with getting the player's friction right xD. First 2-3 hours of coding were spent on fiddling around with player movements, and even I'm not happy with the current result so far. But I had to move on to other aspects of the game, otherwise I would have nothing to submit x). Also, thanks for trying the game!
Glad you had fun! Yeah since I was making only one level, I wanted people to not just finish it in a go, thus had to make it a bit harder ^^. For coyote time, no I didn't add it, but the jump itself had a good velocity so I ddin't bother at the time (I was running low on time as well, lol). As for fire continuing, I agree with that. It's because I've made a very cheap "gameRestart()" code that's why the only thing restarting is the player and the ice cream x), but I'd obviously fix that if I continue working on the game. Thanks again for playing the game!
Love the retro-arcade vibe! One fix could be: it would be better if the icecreams woulld fall faster, otherwise you need to wait for them to reach the bottom, but until that point, a lot of icecreams would be at the bottom and you can't handle them all. To mattch the arcade vibe even more, you can give it a darker background and some shaders/filters to the cone and toppings. Overall, great job!
