What started as a pitch to create a game involving ritual and tarot evolved into a year-long deepening into imagery, game history, and hacking one of the older card games we are familiar with to uses in the modern times. We've now completed and published the last of the three 'zines in what has become a series, with updated digital editions with slight revisions to attribution data added to the game, which was released a couple of months ago. (This is the first release post about any of the zines).
The highlight and original idea is the game The Old Ways Must Go, a ritual-style game for 1 to 4 players where broken systems are dismantled and a new paradigm is created, collectively. It's a BYO tarot deck (or other deck of imagery-rich cards, such as MtG, Dixit, Memory, or even personal photos).
