Cyberdance is an indie game that invites you to explore the language of dance through a clean and minimalist interface. No score chasing, no fail states—just pick a song, drop some steps, and watch it come alive.
What’s the deal
It’s a minimalist dance simulator where every step is an aesthetic choice. Select a music track or import your favorite one, sketch step sequences at any pace, and play them back to see rhythm turn into motion.
What you can do
- Build choreographies in real time and experiment freely.
- Bring in personal music and sync moves to the beat.
- Save, review, and share creations with others.
Why it exists
Cyberdance started as a small passion project to explore dance without rules or competition—just aesthetics, rhythm, and curiosity. It’s an invitation to play with movement and see howsimple steps can shape different coreographies.
Status
Currently, Cyberdance is a prototype, created to see if there is interest in this type of video game simulation.
Feedback helps improving the experience and decide what gets built next.
Call to action
- Hit Play, choose or import a track, create a coreography.
- Post thoughts, share a clip/GIF and drop feature wishes.
- Share your choreographies on a public repository or download some to see what other players have created (repository link can be found in the game's page).
What’s next
- More steps and styles, more stages, more dancer characters.
- Extra soundtracks, outfits, and accessories.
Thanks for giving it a spin—can’t wait to see what gets created.
