Got tired of pausing every 30 seconds in town to manually compare item stats against my Maxroll guide. So I made this for myself: I press Ctrl+D in-game, it captures my screen, sends it to Google Gemini, and a Windows toast tells me "KEEP", "SALVAGE", or "WARNING — don't trash this Mythic".
It reads my Maxroll build once (paste the URL, AI auto-parses skills/uniques/affixes) and references it on every analysis. So if I'm hovering a chest piece, it knows my Tyrant's Grasp Warlock cares about Hellfire skill ranks + Vulnerable mult and ignores Periodic damage rolls.
Sharing in case anyone else has the same itch. Free, runs locally, uses Google Gemini's free tier (1500 analyses/day, you bring your own free key — 2 min setup).
Five languages (EN/IT/ES/DE/FR), Windows only, ~80 MB.
Honest caveats:
- Doesn't read game memory or automate anything (just screenshots when you press the hotkey)
- AI advice is ~85% accurate — sometimes misses nuance on edge-case Tempering rolls
- Defender may show "unknown publisher" on first launch (PyInstaller indie thing)
