A short game about a cat beating bosses
Check it out and maybe give your opinion
https://neetww.itch.io/asla-fighter

OH I'M DUMB, I didn't know the light could run out or you could change batteries in the flashlight

The map is huge and I still don't know how to open the doors, I haven't found a card or something like that

I don't know if the game is finished and I'm not built for horror games, but I played a little
I guess I found one bug: The flashlight stops working when you enter the radioactive/poisonous area by mistake

The atmosphere seems on point (or maybe that's because I'm playing at 4 A.M.). I can see your game being featured on channels like ManlyBadassHero or Aplha Beta Gamer.

I'll replay it later when it's day

I like the atmosphere a lot, but I don't agree with the design choice of letting the player fall into the pit again and don't have a way back

I played the game before reading anything and it was a kinda annoying experience (even figuring out how to show the cursor).

Ok, so I replayed your game:

The first and second challenges were all balanced, but then I discovered that you have to do an unnecessarily annoying jump (the first one) to continue the game. Then I got to the top and got killed.

I'd say maybe remove the arrows if a challenge is already completed, or maybe give the player a way out if they fall down there again. Not all people are going to continue playing if they are annoyed by something that's not their fault.

Bugs:

I only found one bug, you can complete the yellow room if you only collect the top relic

Overall I liked the visuals

Comedy and Tragedy stay still after they eat the meat

and I can't seem to unlock the flying pig on the dex, even if the album recognizes it

Curious to see what more you come up with

The main character's sprite and the walking animation send me vibes from Chrono Trigger, I like it

I'd say maybe increase the cat's hitbox or the bullet's. Or adjust the pathfinding to the player's head, because it is a bit annoying having to go down to hit some enemies that are on your sides (or maybe the game is fine being this way, idk)

You could also show a time bar above the player's head showing how much time is left on a powerup, but this may be a bit tricky if you want to stack them, I just want to give ideas on how you could possibly make the game better

Cool game
