Bravo :)
I like the described universe and the very dreamish atmosphere which question the player about what's real or not. It's quite an immersive and fascinating feeling ! Maybe some tracks feel a bit too different from one another sometimes. The last one with the singing really made me think of Alan Wake 2 with this crazy musical vibe ahah. Great job !
Thanks for the feedbacks !!
That was my fear indeed, that every track sound like different OST a bit so I agree with you on that, I think it kinda makes sense since the ominous is supposed to be surprising like the music shift and the piano/atmosphere is hopefully what bring the whole together, but I totally get your point 😉
The story might sound basic but I actually think it's a very original idea for a indie video game ahah, good creativity on that ! I like how the vibe is like summerish but during a bad trip sort of which reflects well the mindset of the character. It misses something rememberable about the theme I'd say, and maybe a bit more variation, but good first jam, keep it up :) !
Hey ! I love how the tracks are following one another, the transitions are very smooth. and each chapter has its own vibe and narrative. Your story and context are very creative. The only "cons" I'd see is that I consider it more like a "videogame music typed" EP (and a good one by the way !), because the music fits a very specific "run" of the game, for one player, even though we can imagine it's a dynamic music that evolves depending on a lot of things for each players. For virtual reality I would also expect something less 16-bit/pixel era, and more realistic/immersive but that's purely subjective, why not having a very arcade VR universe indeed ! I really enjoyed the music and the trip, congratulations :)
Nice vibes overall, I like the idea of the music changing depending on the hour. The timbre could change a bit more and have more surprises, it could be quickly repetitive during long session of the same track. And I'm curious about the universe and the context of the game, because it's a night environment but the music sounds epic and even a bit dramatic as if something important and global was happening, I would like to know more about what you had in mind :)
