Thank you !! Interesting for Danielle, I'm curious 😉

Thank you !!

Thank you for your feedbacks 😃

The concept is nice and each track has a recognizable theme and identity which is cool and important for a rythm game, great work on that ! Nice influences as well :D
I just would have liked the tracks to be a bit longer to have more time to get immersed into that universe ahah
Good job !!

Thank you for the detailed feedback :D

Thank you !!! I wanted to make more tracks using Danielle's theme, but I didn't have time 🫣

Bravo :)

yes there is definitely a big twist ahah, I really wanted the first theme to be naive, nostalgic, beautiful as if the game would be wholesome all along, and suddenly a surprising shift, but yeah it feels a bit overshoot, specially with only 5 tracks to show it. Thanks for your feedbacks :D

I actually really like the "rushed one", I think it would be super interesting in a very weird japanese animation movie like "Paprika" or something like that. The first one works as well, but is a bit more "expected" let's say. Nice job ! :)

I like the described universe and the very dreamish atmosphere which question the player about what's real or not. It's quite an immersive and fascinating feeling ! Maybe some tracks feel a bit too different from one another sometimes. The last one with the singing really made me think of Alan Wake 2 with this crazy musical vibe ahah. Great job !

I really like the story and storytelling of the music. You've executed your ideas pretty well and the OST is coherent ! Maybe the music could be a little bit more "surprising" if it makes sense but it does the job perfectly and fits the described universe ! Nice one :D

That's a really nice entry ! The emotion is here, the OST is really noticeable overall :) I like particularly 1, 2, 5, 6 and 7 for their emotional potential. Great one :)

Thanks for the feedbacks !!

That was my fear indeed, that every track sound like different OST a bit so I agree with you on that, I think it kinda makes sense since the ominous is supposed to be surprising like the music shift and the piano/atmosphere is hopefully what bring the whole together, but I totally get your point 😉

Both ;) I remember some catchy songs as well for the crunchtime freedom !

Great creativity and composition ! Really enjoyed the trip :)

I recognized your signature !
My favorite is the last one as it reminds me of some crazy Mario Kart tunes, very catchy. I'm thinking that it would be probably nice in a complete OST to have smoother tunes as well to avoid being too overwhelmed by the music ahah :D Great proposition !

Thanks for the feedback !! Indeed I put my effort in the composition itself and the story-telling more than the quality in such a short deadline. I know I might lose some "quality" points probably but it's not the most important to me in this kind of exercice :)

The story might sound basic but I actually think it's a very original idea for a indie video game ahah, good creativity on that ! I like how the vibe is like summerish but during a bad trip sort of which reflects well the mindset of the character. It misses something rememberable about the theme I'd say, and maybe a bit more variation, but good first jam, keep it up :) !

It was so much fun ! The music really fits the narrative and the genre, and I could totally listen to that OST again after playing the game :D For a first jam, it's really solid, nice job !

That's a great one ! The influences and inspirations are good and well used, the tracks create a nice and immersive atmosphere really quickly. I don't really feel the summer night influence though since it could be anything else sort of, but it's definitely a solid OST, great job !

What a good memory ahah ! Thanks for the feedbacks :D
You're right for the EQ, in general I don't spend so much time to clean everything at the end since the deadline is short, but it would benefit from some cleaning for sure :)

Thank you for the feedbacks CuyGuy :D

The vibe is clearly there, very good job with those guitars :D just missing a bit more of clear narrative but it feels like a summer night :)

Hey ! I love how the tracks are following one another, the transitions are very smooth. and each chapter has its own vibe and narrative. Your story and context are very creative. The only "cons" I'd see is that I consider it more like a "videogame music typed" EP (and a good one by the way !), because the music fits a very specific "run" of the game, for one player, even though we can imagine it's a dynamic music that evolves depending on a lot of things for each players. For virtual reality I would also expect something less 16-bit/pixel era, and more realistic/immersive but that's purely subjective, why not having a very arcade VR universe indeed ! I really enjoyed the music and the trip, congratulations :)

Nice vibes overall, I like the idea of the music changing depending on the hour. The timbre could change a bit more and have more surprises, it could be quickly repetitive during long session of the same track. And I'm curious about the universe and the context of the game, because it's a night environment but the music sounds epic and even a bit dramatic as if something important and global was happening, I would like to know more about what you had in mind :)

Thank you so much !!

Thanks for the feedback ! :D I would be very curious to know which sounds exactly for the escapists, which instrument is it ?

Salut Peluche, collègue breton trentenaire ! Merci pour tes retours !

Tu as presque raison, je suis du pays bigouden et plutôt sur Nantes actuellement ahah 😉

Wow thank you so much for the feedback and the improvements propositions !

Thanks for your feedback 😀

Wow thank you for your feedback ☺️

Haha thank you 😸

I really like the Chamber and the narrative of scentofthesun, the mix is pretty clean as well! I'm a bit less fan of crackles, I think because it has a lot of resonance and reverb but it's probably subjective. I really like how it ends, good job ! 😉

Thanks for your ideas of improvement! 🙂

Thanks for your feedback 😀

Thank you for the nice feedback ☺️

Oh wow, thank you very much!!

If you like 2D platform and artistic direction it's a big banger :)
