Hi everyone!
I've just released Light Cycle Arena 1.0.0, a free retro-futuristic arcade game for Windows and Linux, inspired by classic light cycle battles.
Every motorcycle leaves a permanent trail behind it. Avoid collisions, cut off your opponents, and be the last cycle standing!
Features:
- 2–4 motorcycles competing in the arena
- Local multiplayer for two human players
- Online multiplayer via direct host/join connections
- Three AI personalities: Passive, Aggressive, and Random
- Tactical AI that actively intercepts and blocks opponents
- Arena escape mechanics and customizable match scoring
- Retro-futuristic graphics and electronic sound effects
The game began as a small personal experiment inspired by the games I enjoyed in the early days of home computing. It gradually developed into a complete arcade game.
This is my first public release, and I'd be interested to hear what other players think.
