I'm not sure why you left the chat. Can you please get in contact with us? I'm getting the feeling you didn't get to finishing coding the game and were scared to tell us.
I'd like to talk it out if you could get back to us please.
Would it be ok for us to submit the game without the game file so we don't miss the deadline if the upload is giving us trouble?
The game has been finished since yesterday, but our coder is having internet issues and can't seem to get the file to us to upload it, or upload it himself.
I just would hate to miss actually entering our game when it's finished just because the file couldn't be uploaded in time.
I enjoyed it, the characters are cute and there seems to be a lot of little secrets and I even found one of the bonus characters.
My suggestion is to up the movement speed, I felt a lot of time was just waiting around while my character walked through walls at a snails pace, or I wanted to explore a lot more, but I moved so slow I started forgetting where I was going. Oh, also this goes for the text, I don't mind that the text goes slow, but the option to press a button to progress the test faster would be appreciated :)
I definitely would like to see more, though, and look forward to when you complete the full game, great job!

Good day, my name is Nat, or NaxLevelNat, and I am looking for some quick projects to join in just to sort of wet my feet. I have been doing a little bit of promo art for a couple small indie games, and I do silly animations and voice acting on my YouTube channel. I also have my own projects and things in mind, but I need to flesh those out before going anywhere with them. So, instead I want to jump into some other games.
You can find examples of my artwork here: https://www.deviantart.com/nat-just/gallery
And you can hear my voice and see what I do here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZag4pu0FRPEqqlp3zV6WN
(Heads up, depending on my set up, some of my more relaxed videos have echoing audio, but for voice acting, I go the extra mile to make it clear)
What I'm good at:
- I love designing characters, concept art, and drawing expressions.
- I have a range of girl voices I can do from airy to flirty, or annoying, with bad valley girl and country girl accents.
What I'm ok at:
- I like to do pixel art in my spare time, I don't know the masterful techniques and my skills are limited, but I can manage.
- I could probably do some alright UI design, but I have very little if any practice at it.
- I like to animate and am getting better, but don't expect top tier animation skills from me.
- I can rasp my voice enough to sound sufficiently "anime pre-pubescent shonen boy" enough.
What I'm bad at:
- Backgrounds, just backgrounds. I can force it, but don't expect much.
What I can't do:
- I don't want to work on anything NSFW, it's not an image I want to put out there. No shade, just not what I'm working towards.
- I can't code, it gives me a headache to even look at. Yes I've tried.
- I won't work on a project where I am the only one not getting paid. I don't mind hobby projects, but I will not hobby for a project everyone else is getting paid for. I also won't work for a project that won't credit me for my work.
- I am a hobbyist myself, and while I will prioritize work that is paid for, or has deadlines, I don't want to work on rushed projects.
- Will not work on anything related to NFTs. They are destroying the environment, and for what? Literally nothing.
- Voice male characters, I'm sure that goes without saying, but also I don't feel comfortable taking minority roles away from minority people.
Anyway, that was quite long and exhaustive, if you have a cool project in mind let me know!
