This game is fantastic and definitely up my alley. I haven't yet been able to beat all the blue levels let alone the hardest ones on the green level screen, but I tried every level. I love the screen-looping and bouncing mechanics, and how it creates unique level design and trains the player to think differently than the typical platformer. (Level 11 for instance poses a unique challenge I haven't encountered before.) I like that it's hard but still feels fair. I love the guy banging his head against the wall when you walk towards it, I very much enjoy all of the presentation. It's very satisfying to jump towards ledges and climb them automatically. The retro sound design was very good, the music was nice and reminded me a little bit of stranger things with that characteristic arpeggio...I also thought in general of games like Fez, Celeste, Frincess and Cnight. I would've liked to have a different music track for the blue levels to correspond with the different world, and the new importance of the flipping across the screen.

Really, wonderfully done!

This time loop idea is awesome, and it made me feel very big brained when I figured out the solution to a puzzle. I appreciated the humorous tone. It almost felt like I was doing something I wasn't supposed to do when I was standing on boxes and moving myself around with the time loop, I would look down at the box while standing on it to keep myself from falling off.

Great work!

I beat it! The background silhouettes and the bright colors are nice, there's something satisfying and intuitive about looping around objects to win points. I didn't realize immediately that there were bounds left and right I wasn't supposed to cross, I thought I would go endlessly right, rather than try to loop around ice creams within an area. The bird sound is funny, and the idea of going faster after each loop makes sense to me.

For me, the game feels like a functioning prototype of the looping mechanic, with potential to be expanded and polished. Towards the end where I was going very fast it was difficult to get loops cleanly around the objects and felt a little clunky and frustrating. I think adding another ingredient, like having a speed boost to go around the loop, or obstacles/projectiles for the player to avoid could be a step towards making the gameplay more dynamic!

I am a musician, not a coder/artist/developer, but I have enough experience in my own time with these tools and working on projects to know how much it takes to put together a game. Well done!

Hello, I just was wondering if there's a link to the discord server for the jam?

Thank you!

Hello! Is there a discord server for this jam?

Hello! I am just asking if there's a new link to the discord since the one I tried from the jam page said it expired.

Thank you!

Just wanted to ask if this jam has its own discord server? Thanks!

Love the laugh tracks, makes it feel like such an enjoyable bizarre boss fight!

Cheers, thank you

Is there a new link to the discord? I wasn't able to access it via the link in the jam description. Thanks!

I am a musician, and I would love to do some work on a nostalgic 3D game with a shiny SPHERE and sleek 90s CGI style renders!
