The new 0.2.0 build is now available for testing, and it brings huge tactical changes to combat, enemy AI, and progression.

Highlights:
⚔️ Combat Overhaul – AoE cards now depend on player positioning. Movement and planning are more important than ever.
🧠 Enemy AI Rework – Enemies can move + attack in one turn, react to HP, distance, and roles, with unique tactical behavior per class.
🌳 Skill Tree & XP Update – Redesigned passive tree, smoother leveling, improved NG+ scaling.
New Enemies & Abilities – Boss DemonGirl, Dark Beast, new teleports, buffs, AoEs.
🖱️ UX & UI – GlobalUI in all scenes, version visible, smoother drag & drop, status icons, hover feedback.
⚖️ Balance & Fixes – Damage system stabilized, artefacts adjusted, bug fixes (Assassin, Monk, Entangle, etc.).

Hi! Thanks for the kind words.

The project is in early pre-alpha and I'm currently pushing a major QoL update, so the text changes daily. Because of this, I’m mainly looking for testers right now to get feedback on the mechanics and balance—that's what I need most at this stage.

Hello everyone!

After almost a year of solo development, I’ve finally gathered the courage to push my project out into the world. I'm looking for passionate players and testers who love the roguelike deckbuilder genre to help me shape this game with honest feedback.

Project LOOP is a tactical roguelike deckbuilder built in Godot 4.4.

What makes it different?

The game features a unique blend of 2D pixel art exploration that transitions into 2.5D tactical grid combat. Every turn, you have a base move of one tile, but the real strategy comes from your CARDS. You can play specific cards to gain additional movement, allowing you to reposition multiple times per turn, escape danger, or close the distance for a lethal strike.

Current State:

This is a v0.1.8 pre-alpha focusing on core gameplay logic. Please note:

- No SFX/Music yet (priority for v0.1.9).

- English translation is work-in-progress (expect some Czech text).

I am a solo dev and I really need your quality feedback on everything—from the movement mechanics to card balance and the 2.5D transition. If you enjoy tactical deckbuilders, please give it a try!

hey i really want to buy it that pack for 25 dollars but there is issue. When I reach the payment stage, I get the following error:
"Your card does not support this type of purchase."

i already contact support and waiting for reply... but i dont know if there will help me at the time of sales ended when its until friday.
