Couple of hours into the new update.
New fairy cards have a myriad issues -Fairy frontliner doesn't count any cards - for example. Fairy Goddess(+2 effect, lose 30 height, remove)6 mana vs Lake Guardian(+2 effect, Draw 2, remove) 7 mana
Card syntax is all over the place. '5 damage to self' and 'take 5 damage' - further challenging understanding of what a card does
Card effects or deck effects - like GRAVEBORN or WITHDRAW aren't explained - and with the system as it is - zero incentive to try - Further, card effects like how many of X card have been played or how many of X type are hidden till you have a card that shows those.
Sticky UI issues - battle screen Discard popping up if you end your turn too fast. Likely the fancy animation swiping over the button - thinking I'm clicking on discard pile.
With the cards having changed so much is hard to keep track. It feels almost cumbersome and punishing trying for new cards or packs to then not have any of them work or not work how they had previous. As this is a precursor to any of the possible gooning of the game it leaves a bad taste, which previously was already fairly slow.
Still excited to see where this goes, but gonna wait for the next update, sadly.
Menu is no longer dropping frames - Menu seems working fine. That is working better on my rig.
Game mode Endless and Normal(save the cat) were tested - While endless does no have enemies to start - normal does. In normal - enemies were moving, firing and otherwise interacting with the player model.
In both cases of loading the game modes - Music plays.
In both instances; WASD or any keyboard/mouse input had no effect. No change to the game state. Nothing happened. Had to close the program to exit.
Settings are at low - cant go lower. (Again - I'm on a potato)
Resetting bind keys had no change - reverting back to default had no change.
Loading via CMD didn't change anything. Tried windowed, smaller resolution, different Direct X builds - no change.
Everything but the actually game play is working :/
Previous edition struggled on my rig - unless I was launching via CMD. But even with the issues, the previous edition did run all game modes on my system.

Shame - it seems to be running worse on my potato now. Tried cmd trick as well. I loaded normal and endless up - and the enemy is moving and firing. But in both cases, I got no actions from keyboard or mouse input and had to close. Still excited to see some updates. I'll watch for the next one. Keep it up!
