Hello, I am looking for feedback on this playground to learn logic gates, especially how I could make it less overwhelming and more aesthetically pleasing. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Thank you for the feedback.

I'm going to change the UI soon, so the first one will be fixed. The second one could be caused because you died, I should make that more clear, right now it is only in the log.

I added the menu, do you have any suggestions or feedback?

Hello I am looking for feedback on Nand Lab (https://nandlab.itch.io/nandlab), mainly on:

  • how it looks
  • how easy it is to figure out how to use it

Though I am open to other feedback as well. Thank you.

So I fixed some bugs and added a help system. If anyone would like to take a look that would be great, thank you.

Alright, I added a help system, next I will make it more gradual by having it that you start with less subprograms, but you can add more from a menu.

Sorry, is it too complex? I should add a help system.

For now, it is just moving around and connecting logic gates, (which are an electronic that let sends the input to the output only if its condition is met). But as this project develops there will be options to do coding.

Hello, I am working on a project called Nand Lab, that is meant to teach how computers work starting with logic gates, and would like some feedback. Mainly on ease of use, but also if you find any bugs that I missed, please share. I will be adding more 'subprograms' in the future, as well as the option to save and multiple of the same subprogram, but would like to get the base UI / UX down first. Thank you.

This tool is made up of a few subprograms. To begin, you could right click in the first program (Nand Lab) to add logic gates, inputs, and outputs. Afterwards, connect them. You can also browse logic gates in Gatepedia, and connect programs together in Connectron. In the future I am planning to add more programs, and ways to connect them.
