Thanks! Glad you did!

Thank you!

(1 edit)

Very glad the surprise worked on you haha.

Also most of it was done in one day, because we had other things planned before the jam.

Thanks, nice to hear you enjoyed it.

Amazing artstyle that left a great first impression, the gameplay was a bit confusing to me at first, but thanks to the tip I got the hang of it and learned to appreciate the limitation. Very good job.

Glad to hear you liked it. The atmosphere is all thanks to nouhi though. I only did the story haha.

Thanks a bunch!

Very glad you liked the dialogue, I thought it might come over as a little too cheesy. You can actually get the Good Ending on first playthrough, but I don't think anyone did just yet. Thanks for the nice words!

Just wait a bit in the first room, the mood gets a little lighter ater 4 minutes, not to spoiler too much.

Thanks!

Glad you did! :)

Thanks a LOT!

Thank you! :)

Thanks! The idea of colorbased puzzles, while being colorblind was there from the beginning and the Saw-theming seemed like a natural fit.

After 4 minutes the player character is allowed to progress through the first room, without completing the puzzle. Should've been a surprise so I get why that wasn't very clear.

Thanks! I wrote most of the dialogue and there wasn't really a main inspiration behind it. Could've been accidental though, since I watch a lot of different Youtubers.

yoooo

Quite enjoyable experience, I like the ambience, the spritework is cutesy, but the poetry, music and level design make it all feel pretty eerie. This also has one of my favourite limitation usage, with most of the things, that you would be advised to do in most games actually hurting you. I'm not quite sure what the story is about, but that's probably just because I'm very tired rn and I really should go to bed, so... goodnight (probably not considering timezones exist)!

Really cool Rogue-like-esque game. The concept is nicely thought out and original. I just feel like it needs a few more features, like a map (I haven't been able to fight the final boss) or more enemies. The art and music are simple and nice. Overall, well-executed idea.

Very cool puzzle game concept, good base for an unlimited amount of possible levels. Great job!

I don't really get why people are confused by the gameplay, although I agree with some that the limitation does get a little annoying in some rooms and a death screen would be a nice addition, I do think that everything is explained pretty well. That being said, I adore the artstyle, the atmosphere and story, they all compliment each other very well and I'd say you did a very good job with this game overall. Keep up the good work.

Nice art, Great ending.

Since this was made in even less time I can see why it is so short, but it's still a fun game. The collision was kinda confusing, but it wasn't that big of an issue to me.

Very fun variation on a classic 2d platformer game mechanic. Level design was pretty good, especially on the second to last level, took me like 10 attempts to complete that one.

My bad...

Probably the most finished game I've played from this Jam. The artstyle and gameplay compliment the narrative very well, the music does get repetitive, but that also fits in with the whole package. Overall very enjoyable experience and I would probably recommend this to some friends, even if this wasn't part of the Jam.

Cool concept, well implemented. Just makes me wish there was more of it.

Extremely cute game, loved the artstyle and the limitations were implimented very creatively.
