I feel like whether or not you can get the barbute or greaves in order to level up your items to the needed power level is a bit too punishing in an RNG way

Yeah, I agree. Gating power spikes behind specific rare drops that can’t be crafted from basic items feels too frustrating.

I don’t understand the self harm items

They are meant to trigger “When Hit” effects. However, I realized I fell into feature creep by designing too many items for a prototype, so some of these concepts might not make the final cut.

Right-click issue is fixed!

Checked the update, it’s brilliant! Thanks for being so efficient.

I see what you mean about the auto-compose feature. It’s meant to be a support tool. Knowing nothing about composing is definitely my problem 🤣

Wow, thanks for the detailed feedback!

The combinations are a little odd

I agree. It’s been tough making every combination make sense both visually and functionally.

The music, although fitting for the dungeon battle theme, is a bit jarring and/or repetitive.

Good point. It probably shouldn’t be that intense while you’re just in the shop.

the battling mechanics are pretty wild.

The balance definitely needs some tweaks.

I think you could benefit if you remove the ability to see every single combination on all items at all times

Great idea! That could actually make for a really good progression system.

Thanks for the honest and encouraging feedback, it really helps!

Thanks! Backpack Battles set a high bar for the genre, for sure.

When I right click on items, it does bring up the right click menu for me which is annoying.

That’s definitely annoying. I only realized it at the last minute since I’ve been focusing purely on the desktop experience.

I also think some items aren’t working

Thanks for letting me know. I’ll check into those right away.

Sorry, no updates. This project didn’t get much traction, so I’ve moved on to something new.

Just wanted to say thanks for making this! I bought it and I’ve been using it to handle the soundtrack for my project. I love how you can see how much music knowledge is embedded right into the tool.

A few things would make it even better:

  • WAV-only export: An option to export just the WAV file without the project files.

  • Post-generation tweaking: The ability to tweak the parameters of the auto-compose after it has already generated a track.

  • Dark theme: A dark mode would be amazing. My eyes are starting to feel the strain.

Love the style of these icons! I just bought the bundle and they fit perfectly into the game I’m working on. Definitely hoping you keep adding more to this pack down the road!

Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for playing.

Nothing planned just yet! I’m focused on testing the core gameplay right now to gauge interest before committing to more content.

Thanks for playing! 🥰

Added!

Flutter!

Looking forward to more high-quality pixel art animations!

Thanks for the ideas! I agree with your points.

As I mentioned, this is an experiment. If enough players show interest, I’d be happy to develop it into a full game.

Thanks!

The player will lose if they run out of moves (displayed at the top-left) before reaching the stage goal.

I guess it’s too easy for you, so you didn’t need to worry about that at all 😂

Hey, thanks for your feedback!

I’m experimenting with some unique gameplay elements. It’s tough to categorize, but to me, it feels like an idle game since players can watch the numbers go up, even when offline.

I appreciate you sharing your perspective. It’s helpful to know that others might see it differently.

Like the idea!
