I loved that I can create a room from either side of the door. It was fun to generate a mine, and then generate another room on top of it, and watching the treasure fall to me.

I never figured out the fairy alters. I tried offering many different things.

:(

This alpha is more complete than some early access games.

Thanks for playing!

Papers please was an inspiration for sure! I also try to make new things and I hadnt ever done a game based on documents. And it feels like papers please is the main "Document game"

Thanks for playing!

I'm glad you had fun!

I hope that major gamble paid off :)

I think my only complaint is that I wish knowledge that's hidden in the side bar could get put in a little banner for the player to read somewhere. Maybe during a battle? or while the fighters generate?

I think the system is great! it has a huge amount of verity already, and has room to keep going. I wish I understand my betting odds better. I could never quite figure out if someone is going to die or just get injured or give up.

The music and audio was good! until the music stopped :(

I really liked the graphics, they were cute and clear.

also that ending looping back to the intro screen was smooth.

The graphics are the best part of this one.

I hope it was supposed to be a rage game.

I loved the balance of becoming a pretty, but uncontrollable ball of chaos.

I like it!

you're right in your description that it's ripe for expansion.

Gambling everything is the fastest way to win or lose the game :)

Thanks for playing!

I appreciate the suggestions too! I thought about adding more documents you could look at. And the investigator is a good idea. Being able to spend a little more money for more info would have been a good mechanic

I'm glad you played the game!

I think it works if you plan well, and don't need to simulate a 2D/3D world space.

For me it was really fast to create and add new things to. The Total file space is ~2mb, so it basically loads instantly. plus, no compile time.

I thought the art was cute, and well done. The sheep looking back as they run away was a really good detail

I wish there was some sound / audio to this.

The clicking QTE for a fight was a nice addition.

Thanks so much for playing!

I'm glad it all made sense. There was a little bit of worry about people not understanding the system. But this reassures me a ton. Thank you!

Thanks for the kind words and suggestions!

I had upgrades planned, but had to cut it :(

Hey, Thanks for playing!

I'm glad you enjoyed the game. The connection to the 80s is in the mission briefing. Linber and Susair are anagrams of Berlin and Russia. I definitely should have added more story somewhere and made it more clear.

I knew about the counting bug, but only really had time to wrap up exporting and fixing issues there before the jam ended.

Great idea, an aiming reticle would improve this game 10x. The simple assets and home made sound effects gives this a very nice hand crafted feel.

This is a really well done beat em up! I wish there was some other sort of attack i could use. I liked that each boss really tested the player with a different strategy. The difficulty was perfect for me.

This feels like a great start to a "diner simulator." I liked making orders and then ordering more supplies, that's a good little loop to have. I was a little sad that no customers appear. The phone menu was really well done.

The crt filter and simple graphics gives a good retro feel. I wish there was sound or some sort of progression between rounds. The multiple difficulties are fun to see what the algorithm does.

Its alright, I was left wishing for some retro sfx, and sense of progression.

Peak game jam game, falls short of nothing. Amazing result for only 2 weeks of work.
keep this as your demo, and it's a full on steam game ready to go.

Very good job!

This game just embodies the 80s in so many ways. I only wish there was just a bit more game play somehow other than seemingly random guessing. The style is really cooking though, you've got a great art style for some sort of nuke sim / management game here.

Ah yeah, it's in reference to the Berlin wall falling in 1989.

I just made anagrams of Berlin and Russia in the mission briefings.

No idea why the counters go negative, lol. It shouldn't be possible.

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing!

I'm glad you enjoyed the vibes :)

Thanks!
I'm glad it ran for you!

I'll be sure to try and remember a linux version next time.

I agree, the story did need more work. I'll have to keep that in mind more next time.

Thanks for playing :)

Thanks for the feedback! 🙂

I'll work harder to make sure things are clear next time.

The crates don't stop right away, so you have to time it a little bit so it slides into place, but doesn't over slide.

I did see that one. Although I thought it was just a cool cutscene.

I like the set up and all.

The puzzles felt a little slippery, which was frustrating.

But I did have a bit of fun with it. Good job!

I really like the characters, it's a nice backpack based duo for sure.

I think you really have something nice here.

I really like the combo of one player moving and the other buying.

I wish the 2nd player had more ways to help during combat when money is low.

The puzzles are a nice teamwork thing. But are pretty hard to pull off. they feel unforgiving.

I like it, feels like a fun idea for an RTS. I was trying to connect the theme to it, but couldn't figure it out.

Art is great, love that it's just a basic display. Although I do wish more info was given, like are the units shooting at each other with 100% accuracy? or is there a chance of a miss?

I liked this a lot, but could only see the debug text. I wish I could see the art used. It's simple but works well.

Love the characters look and art style. The puzzles were a little frustrating control wise.

I beat it after a few tries. All the characters looked really good.
