Well done for finding a little nod to greatness ;)

Hello, yes of course! Feel free to publish playthroughs and monetise them! The music may get claimed on YouTube - if that happens, email me directly at talktome@mrsuicidesheep.com and we'll get you a code to clear the claims. Hope you enjoy!

It is playable with keyboard and mouse :)

Thank you!

Yes it is, I'll change the GB file metadata on Steam as that is incorrect.

Awesome! We can look into building for Mac when time allows - it's not on the table at the moment.

Much Love!

Glad you enjoyed Slescout!

Sheepy: A Short Adventure’s Bear needs a name. Head on over to namethebear.com and give him a name to be in for a chance of winning a supporters edition of the game, merch, art prints and being immortalized in the credits forevermore.

After releasing the demo at Steam's Next Fest on October 1st, I'm happy to announce that the demo is now available for download here on itch.io! Feel free to check it out :) We've had some wonderful and constructive feedback and look forward to seeing what you think.

Demo: State of Play Oct 2021 - Known Issues

My frame rate is low. The game seems laggy.

Your computer may be playing the game by default through its chipset rather than your graphics card. (this is a pretty frustrating issue that we are working on mitigating). Thankfully there are some potential solutions for now:

Possible Solution One
Possible Solution Two

If you are on an older machine or a laptop with integrated graphics, there might not be much you can do to fix this at this point for the demo however we have included a ‘pixel perfect’ option in the options menu, that might help or mitigate this particular frame rate issue for some currently. We are looking at solutions for the full release.

Audio Crackling

Sometimes, and primarily connected to the Frame Rate issue, you may experience audio breaking or crackling. We are working on a solution for this, however if you had the Frame Rate Issue above and have been able to fix it, it may help this issue.

BRIEF DEMO FAQ

I have some feedback or comments on the game and would like to reach out. How do I contact you?

talktome@mrsuicidesheep.com

Is the demo available on mobile or a different OS?

The only platform/OS the demo of Sheepy: A Short Adventure is on currently is Windows. We are looking at other OS availability for and post the full release.

Much love!

Hey! I’m Rob - Producer of Sheepy: A Short Adventure (itch.io link here!) working with the wonderful Thomas Lean (https://thomas-lean.itch.io/) on MrSuicideSheep’s first indie game.

We’re running into a couple of areas of development that would benefit from a well versed programmers insight, perhaps custom coding, technical optimization and consulting beyond our skillset within Construct Engine, hence the post.

We’re looking to connect with a Javascript Programmer that ideally has experience with Construct Engine (although not a requirement), to work on:

1. Technical Optimization

The big one for us so far is currently, upon initialization and depending on the machine, the game uses the chipset rather than the graphic card by default on some machines (which generates incredibly bad performances). This is a big issue for those with older machines.

2. Technical Audio Scripting

We’re discovering some audio problems for our game with the base engine, and require access to some parameters to modify them. If it's not possible to be fixed by adding Java's code in Construct, then finding another way for example, creating our own plugin to fix this problem.

3. Additional technical issues as and when they pop up.

It’s a fantastic little project we’re working on here and the start of bigger game development opportunities in the future with MrSuicideSheep - please feel free to contact me directly over at talktome@mrsuicidesheep.com. Provide links of previous work and perhaps a very brief summary/one liner of you relating to the task at hand, and we can take it from there!

Keep well,

Rob

Thanks Skid :)

Thanks Rhagul!
