I found a game that allows me to make my own cards…but I got stuck on step 10 of the process. I physically cannot type a string in. Send halp! xD

To be clear my next goal is to find a Yugioh fan game/dev that can make a game where we can just slot in custom made cards. I don’t want people having to do everything from scratch if they don’t have to.

Other roles like music and design to replace the placeholder images are needed and ARE welcomed but aren’t the highest priority at the moment.

A proofreader (especially one that understands Yu-Gi-Oh!) would be nice too as maybe I should’ve said “Beacon Counter” on that field spell card. I’m bound to miss something.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Remnants is a Yugioh fangame consisting of characters and other elements from the animated show RWBY. It is currently a WIP(Work In Progress) as I would love to work with fellow fans of either or both brands to make this game a reality.

For now the digital cards for the “Beacon Academy” Deck have been made and are available to download for free. Feel free to support directly on the game page and if you want to help build let me know down in the comments and I’ll do my part to share socials for a space where we can collaborate. (For now a main developer would be preferrable).

It sounds like most people who claim they can’t play haven’t really been on itch.io before. The file needs to be unzipped via downloading the winrar zip application. (google it)

From there download the game, unzip the file, and in the folder click the “game” application and you’re golden.

My issue was that I did not have a gothic font. Thankfully the creator added the fonts in the folder for installation. Very quick process and only really took me a minute to figure out.

Hey yall. I’m MrLevaux from the curation channel Orgaysis. I was working on my attribution for this game before I uploaded and it seems Atlas’s link to their Instagram is broken. Can someone troubleshoot that so I may credit them and their artwork in my videos’ descriptions?

Right quick I read the cover as “Zero String” instead of “String Zero”. I fully understand you designed the Zero to be less noticable with string having the stark white and in the front. The banner up top reads a bit better but he big purple Zero variant still felt more evident than the word string.

I even tried a black female character in that game which I was TERRIFIED of doing cuz the like 9 men were all OCs while the 2 women were cosplays.

And don’t get me wrong I LOVE customization. I made so many characters in Dark Souls 3 that I gathered the courage to make a Black Man Pyromancer on one of my channels and his Witch/Black Witch set with the DLC Halberd was fabulous but in Dark Souls and other RPGs there’s room and reason for a custom made character.

Also Dark Souls is NOT the best example for a character creator. (At least for black and brown peoples…or people with hair).

I admit I am busy and didn’t read all of this but I do understand the topic. I think it’s fine to have a pre-defined character you play as OR a customizable one as long as they DO in fact fit the narrative.

Fitting the narrative doesn’t always have to be about phenotype or how one identifies but if it is in fact integral to the story then I wouldn’t to change who that character is.

Some games even on this site fall victim to this issue when they make their character’s personality change heavily depending on the choices you make. It’s like the core to who they are becomes a completely different being and it completely takes me out of the immersion.

I also agree and tend to move away from games that claim to or are hyped up about being progressive, only to have BIPOC LGBT+ representation as an after thought or foot note.

One game I will reference is Extracurricular Activities. I just make the MC different types of white cuz I personally do not like how he looks in darker skin tones and if you actually pay attention to the story the MC IS his own character.(Me? Camping? I would never! xD)

Personally…I’d rather replay Horizon: Zero Dawn as Aloy over and over again than reinstall Genshin Impact just to pull for a character who’s melanin disappears in SUNLIGHT of all things.

I’ll be sure to try that next time. I do usually load my most current save but didn’t expect it to not be and issue till later in the story. I assumed it would’ve just been a full stop.

Hi. I’m receiving an “An exception has occurred” error. It happens after the MC picks up a certain hat. The screen persists despite clicking “Ignore”.

I updated the game on March 2nd, 2024. Please let me know if there’s a current need to update or if and/or when it’s fixed.

As far as I’ve played it (I’m only playing sfw rn) nudity has been censored and I’m assuming sex scenes will be removed in one way or another.

I know. It’s like a universal grammar issue that doesn’t makes sense me. Like if you say <18 then I get it cuz “Age < 18” is a no go. But “18-” says… 18 and under. Same with the 18 cross out sign. It’s confusing and needs to be updated but isn’t cuz the general consensus is 18+ meaning “18 and up”.

Ok so if I download on PC… how do I plug him into my computer? XD

Sewer passcode hints would’ve been better if we can check back with a certain rat’s store after getting hints so we wouldn’t have to roll back. OR ask someone in game for said information. Also consider the PM version of time as I would’ve assumed 4 is incorrect since PM for 4 is 16 when you can’t type AM or PM.

Don’t just leave it up to people having a save or google so we don’t feel stuck.

OH! AND the hints need to show up in my phone. I started screenshotting after my struggle with Mac’s code but I literally thought it was 6am and 6pm and that’s just woefully incorrect according to these comments. XD

Hi! I would love to do a playthrough of this game on my YT channel but I don’t know if this game is sfw or not. I have playlists dedicated to different content ratings and my “idk” section is already full for now. I would appreciate direct as to not confuse my viewers.

version 2.1.7’s folder has 2.0.2 on the game file name. Idk if it’s outdated or not.

I guess it’s because I don’t invest in these projects financially but I almost never ask when’s the next update for games on this site because likely the dev team is usually 1+ so I put them in the back of my mind and check in when done playing something else.

It’s a very cute game. However, there is not return menu or back button on the save screen. When I refreshed and tried to load the game I don’t know what the window said but it deleted my save and I still couldn’t exit and had to refresh and play the whole game over.

I’m guessing you allow free scrolling and skipping to help mitigate these issues as this is a short game but people like me save a lot so not being able or feeling trapped or punished for doing so makes me not want to try all the routes.
