This is great! I love the idea. Unfortunately I don't have the patience to get to the end. I tried to map the area carefully and I did pretty well on some part, but later the thing started chasing me and I got completely lost.

I think a nice addition that would make this a little more managable is to have the player start with a map that is partially filled in or have them be able to tell at any point which directions they can go. For example make the ui communicate in some way: There is a wall to the left, There is a something to the right, You can go forward or backward. I don't know if theese are good ideas, but they are just some I came up with.

Maybe I will try again in some time, because I really liked the premise. Great entry!

Very nice game. The tasks ideas are very creative, But I'd say the game is a little too chaotic in giving you information. I never figured out what bugs or panic do or when exactly do I gain them and never really had problems with them. Same with the little cloud bubbles. Never had time to read into them so I just clicked them and moved on.

I really enjoyed the tasks especially the music one onceit added black keys and the color matching one was very fun too.

Thank you for playing and for tue comment!

This really caught me off guard but was funny as hell!

Great experience.

I can tell this is pretty inspired by Please Don't Touch Anything haha

My only gripes are that sometimes selecting the text on the computer worked a little funky. For example when I wantet to modify my password it would highlight and delete more than I intended. (Unless this is intended by design to highten blood pressure, then it works) Also sometimes it would take some time for the telephone to start talking, but the subtitles were  still going and they ended up a little ahead of the speaker.

But overall it was a ton o fun.

This was very creative and a great premise. I can definietly see the password game inspiration and immediately wonder what else could you have done. There are some more fun ideas there that you could be inspired

I was stuck very long on level 4 and making me remember level 2 was brutal but I somehow figured it out. I could also use some quick way to duplicate the bubbles. That could be useful for the palindrome puzzles

Thank You for playing and for the feedback !

I'm glad You liked it. More rules were definietly planned, but I didn't have enough time to implement them. I'm working on the game now so I will add them for sure

Very happy to hear You like the game!

Yep I have some next rules in mind, for example that every column has to sum up to a given number.

But as You said, coding them is a little bit harsh.
As far as I know there is no way to just code every one rule by itself (which is a little mathematical puzzle on its own) and then combine them. I have to make a case for every combination of rules there is which is not that bad for now, but could quickly get out of hand when I add more. Fortunately some of the cases are cut down by just rotating or flipping the board.

As I'm working on improving the game now, I mainly focused on adding new items to the shop and actually fixing it hah

I like the concept.

It gets my puzzle brain going, but  It's a shame that there is only ever one pattern. Once I figured out the trick it was easy to get it almost every time very quickly and if I didn't the powerups were there to help out, which is nice but makes it a little too easy in my opinion.

Very creative game. Pretty hard tho.

Like others it felt a little too random for me at times (Also I don't think I ever saw column 6 moving but maybe it's just my luck)

Farthest I got was 61

I really like this spin on the theme haha!

I'm not sure about the time constraints. It evokes a sense of urgency and I didn't fell like I had time to really read into the testimonys and deduce. When I read the first thing that sounded contradicting to another I convicted and happened to be right. Never figured out who the forgetful one was tho.

[spoiler warning ahead]

I also think the murderer was a little too obvious with them saying. I was in the library, bur never went close to the study. It makes them really stick out from the rest. Everyone else mentions where they have been, not where they have not been. I think it would help to figure out another place for him to be at that time that he lies about or making more people mention where they definietly didn't go.

Overall I think it's a fun Idea for a game

Thank you for the feedback!

I'm very glad You liked the game.

Very glad you liked it so much!

Sorry about the shop. But fyi You can still buy stuff. You just have to be quick about it

Thank you for the feedback!

Ouch. I knew the shop was bad, but I didn't know it was this bad. I wasn't able to finish the shop in time, but even after I tested it post submission I had at least a few seconds in the shop. Weird.

Thank you for playing

Yes I'm aware of the bug. It was listed as a disclaimer in the project description.

I guess I just ran out of time to fine tune the balancing and different rules and patterns. The initial concept had in it that you would be able to buy one time abilities that let you peek at a chosen card without revealing it and such. For now I'm sure ut would be much better if you had more random cards revealed at the start.

Well, I appreciate the feedback anyways

Thank you for playing! Happy you liked the game

I'm very glad You liked the Idea!

Thank you for playing!

This is a nice spin on the classic solitaire.

But I think the lake gameplay gets slow, especially in the end.

Also, as far as I have noticed, there is no way to cycle through the cards you have already caught. I think in that case I would make the cards in the lake show what card they are. That would make the player have more agency.

Other than that it's good job, especially on the graphics end.

Great opening and the transitions. Wow! The graphics in general are pretty strong. Along with the audio.

I have encountered one bug in the level where you have to expand a square to push 2 balls to the sides. One of the phased through the expanding cube and two balls ended on the right and none on the left and the level was broken. Worked on restart tho, so not a big deal.

Great game!

Thanks for playing! Happy to hear you liked the concept!

This was very fun!

Such a shame there aren't more levels! The game ended just when my flow state kicked in haha

The graphics are super good. I especially like this cartoony style in dialogues.

i like this game, but it is pretty difficult. I played it for I think about an hour before I was able to beat it.

The style of the game is great.

The player leaving footprints on the ground was a marvellous idea. I'm not sure if it fits retro game design, but certianly is a great quality of life feature, especially when you are looking for unexplored paths, while running out of time.

It would be great if there was any way to regenerate hp, for example for collecting 100000 points or something.

The game was pretty fun

I'm happy you liked it!

Thank you for playing! Very happy you liked it!

Nice cozy game.

I really like the graphics, but other than being pixelated they don't feel that much retro.

The grind for some last missing items gets a little tedious in the end, where you miss just one from the area and can't get it still.

Also I guess I would call it a bug, that when I buy more food of the type I have selected, the counter doesn't go up and I have to swap the food for it to refresh.

The audio overall is really nice, but I think the game would have benefitted from some little cozy music.

Glad you liked it!

Thank you for the take on the pacing.

Very cool!

The graphics are very nice, but I think the mario style bricks kinda clash visually with everytnig else. Maybe if they were also hand drawn and more soft looking?

You can sometimes make a doulbe or a triple jump? It involves spamming space quickly and never gets you any higher than a one long jump so it's not a big problem, but still a little weird.

I had some problems with getting into sideways in the pac man maze while wall jumping, I think you should be alble to change direction sooner after wall jumping to make this easier or maybe not be able to change direction at all to encourage players to find other solutions.

I really liked the creative use of mario pipes and the whole world orientation changing was cool, but having through that again got a little tedious. Maybe You could make another pipe that that just moves the player back to the "hub(?)"

The space invaders minigame had to be my favourite, but the pac man maze was also pretty fun and amost turned into a horror game haha.

Pretty fun little game. Overall good job!

Very original idea! I like it!

Knowing Liar's Dice rules in advance helped a little, because I don't think I could quite grasp it based on tutorial alone, which has a narrative layer to it, that is nice, but makes the communicating of the rules less understandable in my opinion.

The first couple of rounds were pretty nice and I think it would have been a great experience, if not for some bugs later on, when some kingdoms were missing all their dies and calling bullshit a few times in their turn and so on.

I also would have appreciated actually seeing what rolls each kingdom got after someone calling bullshit to check.

The graphics and audio were the strongest in my opinion, this game has a very nice style. I also appreciate the humour!

The style of the game is nice and fits the theme well.

I think the combat is nice, but a little too simple in my opinion, I don't understand which enemy my character is targeting. Is it random?

The higlhight for me was setting up the strategy in deciding what items each character gets. This was pretty fun.

Thank you for playing! Very happy you liked it! I will keep working!

Very glad you liked it! I will definietly expand on this game in some tim

This is a very solid idea, but the game itself is far form perfect.

I think the concept is good, but the game is pretty buggy.

I fell through the floor on the recycling station several times.

The enemies stick out through walls and can hit through walls. And follow the player even If the player is a floor above them.

Buying bullets is pretty much an infinite money glitch. You spend 1 point to buy 15 bullets and then are able to sell them 1 point each.

The ladders work kinda funky. While I get the thinking behing making you hold a button to go up, just by snapping players position up. The problem is that when you are already on top of the ladder, you can do that again and end up one floor even higher.

However I quite liked the audio. For an action horror type game it was fittingly unnerving with the buzzing and foosteps. The enemies are very gross, which I think is a job well done on the graphics end.

This is a solid concept, but still needs some work to be a great game.

Best wishes on the way ahead!

The gameplay is fun, and the game looks and sounds nice, especially the music.

But I have a few issues

The biggest problem for me is the randomness. You get random ingredients on the right and the customers want random things on the left. They often want something that you don't currently have and can;t get for quite a while, because the rng said no. I once ended up with 3 customers wanting pinecones at once and I couldn't get a single one, because they just wouldn't show up.

Other minor issue is that the door is very punishing. Once you start holding it and let go for even a milisecond, you instantly loose. Or sometimes I didn't even know why I lost. Perhaps an information on the death screen, what killed you could be helpful?

I also encountered a bug where I somehow picked up two things at once and one of them stayed glued to the mouse forever and I couldn't get rid of it in any way. And another thing that I don't think is supposed to happen is items staying in your inventory after restarting a game.

In It's current state the game is difficult and a little unfair I'd say, but I still think the Idea has some good potential and with some adjustments it can turn into a very fun game.

Best wishes on your way ahead!

The game feels great to play, jump and shoot around. Especially the deflection mechanic

It's very difficult though.

The thing I have most problems with is the boss. While conceptually it's great, the fight feels very random. As far as I noticed the time the boss takes after shooting at the player and before the next shot is random. And this sometimes makes the fight very drawn out, if you get bad rng, but the number of enemies keeps growing no matter what. It would also be nice If the boss shooting the bullet was more telegraphed than just through an animation, prehaps a sound effect or some additional light effect?

One last thing was that when I finally beat the boss, the enemies kept spawning. I thought the game was broken, but decided to keep playing. Only after a few minutes, after I was starting to consider that there is no win screen or that my game is broken, they stopped spawning an the door opened. I think that was way too long of a wait after beating the boss.

But even with the problems I had, this was still a blast to play. Very well done!

Let's go!

Thank You for playing the game! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Very happy you liked the game and the fighting system!

Big respect for the DUCK!

It took me some time to figure out the movement, but after that, Wheeew!

Never thought I would get to play as spiderman in the backrooms hah!

The graphics look nice and very vibey. The whole game is good at making you feel tense, when you are wandering into the unknown.

I had some trouble figuring out where to go after taking a photo of the thing. The little holes are tough to spot, especially when my strategy was all about sticking to the ceiling to avoid the thing.

I also encountered some things that I think are bugs? Halfway through the game a crosshair appeared in the middle of the screen, which I think was supposed to be there since the beginning? After playing for a while without it, I became used to it missing and later it felt like it was taking too much space on the screen and blocking the view.
Also in the pool rooms there seemingly were some hitboxes floating in the air, because I was not able to grab the walls but my hook grabbed the air.

I really enjoyed this experience. Great entry!

Bonus points for being able to save your photos!
