The combat system was interesting. I couldn't quite figure out the "critical hit", but I was able to whittle them down. I found the king after fighting two waves with a full bar. The victory screen reminded me of King's Quest, nice retro vibe. A little buggy (got stuck in the hedge once) but that was easy to avoid once I discovered it. Overall a fun little game.

Love the charming art style, the hand shifting with the controls was a smooth touch. And I'm always a sucker for a claw machine. It did seem very easy but it was relaxing to play. I lost once, accidentally spending all my coins when I was trying to figure out the upgrades. But the gameplay was smooth. Cute game, great work!

10/10 claw machine and cute art
0/10 ungrateful daughter

Really interesting take on the risk mechanic, with having to build your own chance wheel. Not sure I've seen that one before! It took a little trial and error to figure out exactly what the buffs and debuffs did, but it was fun trying stuff out.
I enjoyed seeing new enemy types as the waves progressed. And the finger gun made me laugh. Great interpretation of the theme, unique mechanic. I liked the music and sound effects, though there were some audio issues. But really good job, I had fun with it!

I got a kick out of the little main menu band, always there for me when gravity tried to harsh my mellow. Hopefully they didn't judge me for taking the baby route when I finally made it to the fork. After all, aren't the real dank cookies the sweet jams along the way?

Great vibes, dope tunes, fun game!

This is incredibly innovative. I could see it having the potential to really scratch a Pikmin-esque itch, possibly even on a touchscreen. Needless to say, the polish is impressive considering the time frame. Loved all the little animations on the credits screen.

I saw you mentioning wishing you had more levels, but I thought "surely this is the last level" multiple times. Anyway, you've got a great eye for design, keep up the awesome work!

I wasn't able to get a high score, but I found it addictive enough to try a few times. Really polished experience, from the menu and leaderboard to the gameplay itself. The art is charming and the music/effects are adorable. Everyone involved in this did great work, one of my favorites for sure.

I managed to score a Fresh on all three stages. Fun little challenge! I found the first level the most difficult to get within the time limit. But I liked the hidden paths and red herrings as the levels progressed. I'd definitely keep playing if you added to it. Keep up the good work!

Definitely one of the more unique games I've played this jam. Reminded me of a hacking minigame. It just needs something to encourage the player to take game-losing risks, so they don't just stock up on biscuits before attempting the risk nodes. But a very neat concept nonetheless, I like it!

Fun but difficult game mechanic. I really like the unsettling art style, it pairs well with the time limit keeping the player on edge. Nice work!

It may have been an error of judgement to opt for tank controls, if that's what you're referring to. I thought it seemed more.. ant-like? As well as upping the challenge to help balance the length of the stage. Sorry if it instead just made it frustrating to navigate. But thank you for the feedback, it's good to know!

Unique idea of having the RNG of loot be determined by a slot machine, that's fun. And the aesthetic reminded me of Project Zomboid. It was definitely on the hard side, but with some balancing there's some serious charm. I liked it.

Well put together. Liked that it had voice acting! It was fun to learn the patterns of the family while sneakily watching from the stair banister. I did hit a point where I couldn't find the jar. But I liked how guard patterns would change every night, shaking up the difficulty even if you think you know the layout of the house. Great work!

Ant friend! Fun concept, it gave me Mario Party/Fall Guys minigame vibes. Could be chaotic fun with full multiplayer. The animation and scripting on the ants was very impressive, would be cool to see it in action on a level that required more wall-walking and such. Nice game!

This was very well done. A unique take on a board game with the physics based element, I was surprised the first time I knocked a piece off. That was cool. I could see this idea really going somewhere. Excellent work!

Fun little game! I like the amount of polish on this, it's all pretty coherent. Sound is really good too. I wanted to keep playing when I reached the end of the emails.

I'm glad you like it! Exactly what I was going for. I do plan on a downloadable version in the near future along with some other updates.

That's fair. Audio was last on the list and the time just didn't quite cut it. And I didn't like the idea of just using generic or placeholder sounds last minute. So that'll all get added after. But thanks for the feedback!

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. Yeah, for some reason the sensitivity is way higher in the browser than when I was testing it. That bug should be fixed now somewhat. I'll add further sensitivity options post-jam.

He was truly one of a kind.

Good catch! I noticed the sensitivity was way too high in the web build. Should (hopefully) be better now. I'll add sensitivity options and such post-jam. Long live Frank! And thanks for the feedback.

Very charming little platformer. Deceptively challenging to time your jumps, even when it's still moving slow. But while still being easy to hop in and play. Excellent work!

Not what I was expecting at all. Really a pleasant surprise. It's tense trying to find all the clues (haven't succeeded yet!), but it's fun to try to figure out the quickest order and piece together the story. Keep it up!

Thank you!
