Hey everyone! I'm new to game dev, but I’ve always loved art—and I grew up playing older games that really stuck with me. So I thought, why not mix my two favorite things into one hobby: games and art?
That idea led me to start work on my very first game:
The Fate of Briar Glen
It’s a first-person point-and-click horror game, and I’ve been building almost everything from scratch—frame by frame, pixel by pixel (128x128 resolution). It’s taking a while to get the demo finished, but here’s what’s already in the works:
- A custom inventory system
- A multi-slot save/load system
- Original pixel art and UI (drawn from the ground up)
- A creepy, narrative-driven experience with interactable characters
Here’s a sneak peek at the art style. You’ll be able to talk to this guy in a padded cell

The demo will hopefully drop in a month or two, depending on how long each frame takes to finish. Thanks so much for checking it out and I’d love any feedback or thoughts from the community!
Hey everyone!
Thanks for checking out The Fate of Briar Glen— I'm super excited to finally start sharing this project with you all.
This game is still in development, but I wanted to open the door early and start connecting with anyone curious about it. A playable demo is in the works, and I’ll be posting updates along the way.
If you have any questions, feedback, or ideas, feel free to drop them in the comments — I’d love to hear from you!
Thanks again for stopping by. More soon!
