Hi there!

I’m currently working on a prototype for an RPG-style game in Unity, and I’m looking for a pixel artist who’s passionate about classic JRPG aesthetics and interested in building their portfolio.

The style I’m aiming for is heavily inspired by legendary titles like Octopath Traveler, Chrono Trigger, and Breath of Fire, so anyone who loves (or has experience with) creating characters and animations in that vein would be a great fit.

Current progress:

I’ve been learning Unity and have already built a working prototype scene in the past few days. Things are moving fast, and I’d love to add authentic character art to make the game world come alive.


About the project:

Right now the focus is on building the first levels as a prototype — to test gameplay and visuals. Depending on how things go, there’s plenty of room to expand this into a more ambitious project with the right energy and passion. 

My vision in the long run is to focus on smaller, achievable goals — building systems that can both be showcased as part of a portfolio and reused later. This way, I’m preparing myself for either joining a studio or finding related opportunities in the industry.

For this particular game, I already have much of the broader vision mapped out, either in my head or in the game bible. Still, there are many details of the world that need more depth and development before it can be fully fleshed out — and that’s where collaboration can really make a difference.

About me:

I’m a professional audio engineer with a deep passion for video games. Now in my early 30s, I don’t play as much as I used to — but crafting games myself feels like the most authentic way of engaging with the medium.

I bring experience in production timelines and audiovisual workflows, which I believe is a huge asset when managing collaborative projects. With this and future prototypes, my goal is to continue developing my skills not only as a game developer, but also as a sound engineer, designer, and composer. Ultimately, I hope this journey will lead me toward landing a role in the game industry. 🎮
