hey, thanks for playing!

- the difficulty cliff is absolutely not intentional, I'll try to fix that when (and if) I get around to updating the game.

- the skip is "intentional", in that I noticed it and didn't have time to fix it. I might add a secret in place of the skip later? Dunno.

- the extra room being difficult to navigate makes sense because the structure to the back-right used to be the tutorial -- it was later replaced because it was too unintuitive.

all in all, I think a large part of this could have been avoided if I spent more time playtesting. Thank you for playing, and for the feedback!

hey y'all, thanks for checking out my game! the feedback seems pretty unanimous in that character control sucks, so I will work on that after the jam finishes. again, thank you all so much for playing!

One of the greatest rage games I've played in quite a minute. I will say I did manage to get stuck while looking for secrets, but I think that's largely on me lol

Good luck! https://monkeymanii.itch.io/flatland

I really like the concept, but the game becomes super easy if you just camp in a corner. Other than that, fantastic game, and excellent visuals!

here ya go!

My take on FEZ-like platformers. 2D character in a 3D environment.

I love the visuals (it's giving a mix of SAW-trap and general supermarket vibes). I do think there should be a tutorial, though. They keybind indicators, while very helpful, weren't really enough. (Also the icons for they keybind indicators are really cool!)

Here's mine! https://itch.io/jam/theveryseriousjuniperdevgamejam/rate/4713077

here's my game :)

trash truck driving is a serious business, you know

Here's mine!

Thank you for playing! I think the whole 'leap of faith' issue is mostly due to the 2D camera angle having next to no depth perception. :P If you have an idea to improve it, I'll try to implement it!

This is awesome! I love the sound design, visuals, and the general vibe they give, and it's a really creative take on 'spin to win'!

this was super difficult, but a lot of fun to play! great job!

Awesome game! It's honestly shockingly difficult. I love the level of visual polish on everything, no notes. (my highscore: 982)

If you want to check out my game, here's the link: [ https://monkeymanii.itch.io/flatland ]

As a very, very serious playtester, I can confidently say that your game is awesome! I did encounter one issue, though - on the "ice junction" level, when I restarted I got clipped into a wall. Restarting the level fixed the problem, though. Aside from that, amazing job!

I love the game, but somehow I managed to clip out of bounds in the 'three platforms' room. (Also, you can bring cubes with you in the pause menu; dunno if that one is intentional)

Thanks for checking out my game! The physics are generally super buggy, and while I'll try to look into it, I don't know if I'll have the time to fix it. As for the Dojo, it was meant to be a debug level, but I just kind of slapped a "tutorial" sign on it, so it definitely needs a redesign.

Also, your game looks great! I love that just the thought of making an MMORPG basically is a run-ender. Also, the sound effects are spot-on.

Hey, thank you for playtesting! I checked out your game, and I love the concept, but I could never tell what is and isn't interactable (I was kinda just spamming F on everything :P) If you have time, I think some sort of prompt that lets the player know what is and isn't interactable would help a lot.

ohh ok I didnt get the space part! ty

that is the simplest way I've found to do it, but I know itch has a tool called butler that might be able to help? I've never personally messed with it so idk

okay so I'm honestly not super sure what to do, could you put instructions on the project page? (like controls-wise)

I am on PC, but I wonder if browser matters? anyways, here are the screenshots:

(fullscreen: super zoomed in)

(not fullscreen: idk its just pure gray)

(the not fullscreen screenshot isn't showing up fsr)

hey, I'd love to playtest but it seems like the embed is a bit wonky. when I fullscreen, it's super zoomed-in and I can't really see much of the screen at all.

Hey y'all!

I just "finished" my submission (read: made it kind of playable), and I'm wondering if anyone wants to playtest? If you do test, I will try to get back to you and test your game (if you ask).

Anyways, here's the secret link to the game page.

Feedback would be much appreciated!

This is super cool! It took some getting used to at first, but I love the retro art and movement styles.

Okay, ty!

This is insanely cool! How did you get the voxels to line up with the spherical planet shape so well?

I feel like this is someone recreating Baba is You for fun and not trying to pass it off as their own.
