This is really so so kind, thank you so much for the comment and your thoughts on the finale and thank you for sharing it on stream ^^

This was lovely, thank you for writing this. Shoutouts Showgirls

What an incredible game. This has quickly become one of my very favourite entries of the jam. The presentation is excellent in how the paintings and music work with the story, how the figurines move and "act" in the set, and the writing is absolutely superb. The layers of subtle detail and interplay between Elodie and Grace is completely enthralling from start to finish. This captures the complicated maid x mistress dynamic more than anything I've read. Really, really incredible. Very excited to read more of your work.

That should be the end of the game, I meant it as a sort of 'fin' card and expected people to quit there. I think I'll shorten the click-to-continue time on the very last one though (and maybe change that graphic) since a few people have mentioned it.

thank you so much ^^

adore your dev logs, and the art is absolutely stunning. thanks for sharing ^^

beautiful presentation! adore the art on every single screen, love the dialogue noises and music, and i learned a yaku from it.

(does tina cheat in the second game? it wasn't clear to me who discards the white dragons, but... if it's her, isn't that furiten? >.<)

I think it's a default setting in Renpy - I'll address it in the next patch. Thank you for the kind words and hope you have the chance to check out some other games from the jam!

(edit: it images the Self-Voicing accessibility option volume in renpy, so I'm going to leave it in and will update the option to clarify in a patch)

Thank you! I'll look into the macOS issue - do you mind if I reach out to help test that?

(edit: attempted fix is up - v1.0.4)

i would also contend that there are also a set of people making games are less interested in making games as they are with 'being a game developer', which does actually have a cool persona: "i want to be like toby fox, the balatro guy, etc." / "i want to make my Cool Indie Games and make 1 million dollars and stop being so alienated". they dislike making games almost as much as they dislike paying you for concept art: because the act of creation is not the goal but merely friction for the reward of celebrity. my 2 cents. lovely work.
