Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry I missed this! I have been incredibly busy this past week, so I apologize for the late reply. If you still want to chat, I would love to, but I understand if you have already committed to a new project

Posted on the jam page and here too: I really loved the writing and art style! This was tremendously enjoyable to play and I love the unique character designs. Really great job!
(also, a ren'py question, I was unable to ever change the web splash image and y'all's looks amazing! If you have some time, I'd love to know how you did that, it was giving me trouble on my project)

The art style was very lovely and I really enjoyed playing around with the main character's movement. I was a little confused about what I was supposed to be doing or what my goal was in the store. I wasn't sure where I was supposed to go once I walked over the targets on the ground. I really would love to see how you develop this further!

I am a huge fan of murder mystery visual novels and Holmes has a special place in my heart! I really like your creative take on a dialogue-focused story and everything from the writing to the art helps to sell this rich setting! I also really liked the "push" feature! A tutorial would be helpful, but honestly for the time frame of the jam, this was amazing. I will have to set aside a few hours to explore every option I can.

This game was addicting and very fun to play! I love games like these and this was very nicely executed. My main feedback would be to be a bit clearer about how much each item is worth when I collect them, but that's really my only feedback! I would love to have this game on my phone to play during commutes!

This was very well done and very impressive!!! I was a huge fan of the VFX and animations, it feels so incredibly polished and the sound/music makes this so enjoyable. I think my only points of feedback are that the second level felt harder than the 3rd, and I wish that in the very first level there was water closer to the start of the level cuz I ran out right as I started. I also think my water level in my hose carried over between levels.
I really loved playing this, it's very well made and very enjoyable! I loved the robot twist at the end aha

This is very impressive for the amount of time we had for the jam! I will say, the controls confused me a lot at first as a rightie who uses WASD all the time, so it took me a while to get the hang of it. The amount of polish you put into the game feel is also quite impressive. I really liked the freeze frames when taking damage, the VFX, and animations. It feels very polished and I would love to see your team develop this more!

I also encountered a bug after dying to some spikes:

I really like a lot of individual elements you have here and as a resource management lover myself, I really liked the design of a game where you are managing which of your workers are collecting resources and which are refining those resources. I really could only understand how our dear panda chef worked and sometimes other critters would just vanish out of the castle for me. I wish there was some extra player feedback: - some text that appears when you hover over critters that tell you what they do (what resources do they collect, what do they make, etc. etc.)
- some visual indicator when a resource changes ("+10 wood" or the number flashes green when it goes up, for example)
I really love games like this and I would love to see you develop it more! It would help if critters other than the panda generated XP (maybe they did, but I was unable to get them to work) I can't imagine the level of detail the AI programming in the game right now, so you should be proud for getting that done during the jam!
