Really clean controls and great visuals, especially for the character movements.

Definitely an ambitious idea for a game jam. The UI went kind of haywire for me while gathering food (thousands of worms covering the screen?) which I thought might be intentional at first before it started lagging like crazy. After a restart though it seemed to go somewhat smoothly. The minimalistic pixel art and music were great, it definitely captured that post-apocalypse vibe that the game was going for. The visuals and mechanics of the cooking portion of the game was definitely the highlight for me though, so I kind of wish there was a bit more depth/emphasis on that. Overall it was a pretty vibey and chill experience though!
I like the unique art direction you took with the game, and also liked exploring more of the map, like finding the key in the cave. However, I feel like the start of the game could be less grindy, as I just summited the small peak multiple times to get enough money to buy equipment. overall pretty nice game
Navigating around the map as a wizard was fun, I wish there was more variety of wizard levels, rather than just 1, 2, 5 and 30. It could make for better progression lvl 30+ if there were more high level wizards. Maybe there could be a simple countdown to see how many levels you can gain in a limited amount of time, but it was pretty good for 48 hours.
