Not my type of game but well executed imo :).

U sold me on the description of the game but then I realised the main menu music is a bop! Stood there jamming to it for solid 3 minutes before actually playing. I relate to the main character and the art is crispy. Anyways about the gameplay., I loved the ending I got, it was really cute! The game is short and cute, just as I expected, and I also had some laughs along the way.Kudos, developer!
No problem! I do feedback the way I'd like other people to do for my games. I think slowing down the rats is a good idea since I barely noticed they were rats in the first place until they attacked. And yes, it makes sense to have that many rats if it's a medieval setting. Now as for moving big monster, I don't know how to fix that. I only know that you can use direction fix on big monsters that don't move and that fixes the monster transforming . And yes, transporting the event off the map also works although I find it easier to just self switch into an empty page :). I'd also suggest to make each cocatrice move at a different speed. Rn It feels a bit ridicilous to have them all come at you at once. I'd also be up for creating custom tilesets for you if you want(for free). I'm not the best artist but I think the game would benefit from some custom art.
I don't know if you noticed but rich old guy appears again after you rush off the scene and then come back again. This is probably due to you using erase event instead of control self switching to a blank page. Hope this was helpful! Also the rat in the second town disappears if you manage to escape, dunno if that is intentional.
Also think it's a bit weird to have super fast rats roaming around town, unless the theme is that they're super plagued and hostile I don't think safe zones should have them in a game like this, just my opinion so far.
The big monster, the one that analyses u also transforms into another monster when you talk to it. I had this issue as well, it's because it needs direction fix.
Other than that the game is interesting, although a bit confusing.
